great mask got shot in face many times feel nothing no fogs

The image that shows you the mask you are buying is for the old model of the JT Spectra Proflex, the mask you get is the new model with a flexible jaw piece and different visor. I added pictures of my old Proflex and the new one I'm reviewing(I remove the ear covers to use comtacs and I don't like visors so I take those off too), the old model has the horizontal breathing holes compared to the vertical ones on the new model.The main differences between the two are that the new model mask comes down farther on your face, covering more of your chin/ upper neck. Also the mandible is flexible. The new model has better foam and is more comfortable.Now that the buyer beware section is over, it's time to do the actual review!This is a good mask. Plain and simple. As a magfed player I only wanted two things from a mask: removable earpeices for a headset, and a flexible jaw so I could put my face a little closer to the gun when aiming and this mask does both. Its comfy, tight, and not too heavy. The lens is thermal and the ventilation is good so fogging is not an issue except MAYBE on days where the heat is extreme. My friend has an HK KLR mask and when it gets hot and humid his 100 dollar mask fogs hard and is unusable, my old proflex fogged a little but was still mostly clear, and this new one seems to have better ventilation and a better lens.I would have given it 5 stars if I got the mask in the picture... I would have given the new model 5 star if Its what I had ordered. 3 for false advertising, but if you want a good mask I can recommend this one regardless.

My grandson loved the JT Spectra Goggle. Very light weight with lots of protection.

Very comfortable. And I even bought a fan to prevent fogging but it has not been needed since the breathability is outstanding.

Love this mask, it is sturdy and does not fog up easily. I added a fan to help the fogging and only use the fan typically for a few minutes after a long sprint. These have a good field of vision and are very comfortable. Cleaning them is easy and they offer very good protection. Ive take quite a few rounds to the face from very close quarters playing indoor airsoft and its saved my teeth & face numerous times. Replacement lenses are affordable.
