The 3-pair pack of Juclise socks I received are in a pretty assortment of colors -- pink, purple, and lavender. (There are more "unisex" color assortments available, however, if that's what you prefer.) I normally wear knee-high socks (diabetic socks in bed, and compression socks during the day), so these Juclise calf-length socks were shorter, but I decided to try them as both bedsocks and everyday socks anyway.The knitted fabric is a blend of Merino wool (far softer than the bison/wool blend socks I used to wear as bedsocks) and "Coolmax" fiber (apparently made from recycled plastic bottles, it both increases the strength of the sock yarn and keeps sweat from getting trapped against the skin). The ribbed construction of the soles provides a nice cushion for the feet, without noticeably increasing drying time when laundering. (I machine-washed and dried these, which is not as gentle a laundry treatment as the manufacturer recommends, but it works for me.)These socks never pinched my feet, although I did notice marks on my calves where the top of each sock had been when I removed them. The manufacturer does not specify the degree of compression these socks have; however, based on the lack of pinching, I would guess that the compression level is comparable to that of other compression socks I have purchased from Amazon in the past (15-20 mmHg). If only these were available in a knee-length version, I would not hesitate to buy these again. Recommended.

I never thought I’d have such a strong opinion about socks, but these feel like professional-grade gear. They’re extremely comfortable, with a perfect fit that hugs the foot just right. Soft but with a firm grip, they stay in place all day. I tested them on a warm late spring day in Atlanta, GA, and my feet stayed completely dry. No friction, no discomfort, and no odor at all after several hours of wear.The material is breathable and feels high quality. The color combo is also great; the pack comes with two pairs in Onyx and one in Gray. Both colors are subtle and go well with just about any sneakers or outfit. I’m genuinely impressed and already thinking of ordering more. Loved them.

It takes a lot to get me excited about anything, especially socks - and I've reviewed a lot of sock. But I have to say, these socks are simply amazing. The quality is evident from the look and feel of the socks right out of the box. Super soft and providing the right amount of support where needed around the feet, these socks will keep your feet happy for hours. The size Large was a perfect fit for my size-11 male feet.These socks have just the right amount of weight, in that they are not too thick or thin. They will keep your feet warm and comfortable without adding bulk and tightness when you try but on your shoes or boots. And yes, they are worth every penny - trust me. These socks will also make a perfect and impressive gift for anyone. Quality product and highly recommended!

I'm not a hiker or runner. I do walk a lot, but my feet don't usual heat up and sweat much. I just like comfort and nice quality. So I might not get to appreciate the moisture wicking properties of the Coolmax polyester fibers mixed with merino wool. I like the natural temperature regulating properties of the merino and the added stretch to the fabric from the little bit of spandex included. But, like I said, the comfort and quality are what matter to me, and these check both boxes. While I don't generally appreciate polyester at all, it will help keep the socks' shape and add to durability. Great socks and look nice too.

This is the first time I've tried Merino wool socks, as I have always been averse to buying them because of the usual high price point. But after trying them out, I have to say that there is a reason such socks are sold at a premium. They are incredibly comfortable and suited for the high-stress wear and tear of hiking. They also have a compression effect, so my hike was long, but my feet didn't feel nearly as tired as before. My feet stayed dry; they never felt overheated, sticky, or bunched by the socks. Upon removal, there was no odor. And three socks are in the pack, which is a great value! Satisfied, I hope to be able to get more in the future, as they are very useful.
