The inks come well packaged, with each bottle in a seperate bag. The colors are good and the effect is neat. It does take practice to get it to come out correctly. My first attempt barely had any of the effect. I think this was due to using the 70% isopropyl alcohol I had on hand rather than 99%. It's a learning process. I did find the bottles to be a good size, especially since they are meant to be diluted.

I’ve never heard of Delaminating alcohol inks but I am familiar with regular alcohol ink. These inks come in a concentrated form. The methodology is to dilute them with rubbing alcohol and pour / spread as desired, using more alcohol as needed. When the alcohol evaporates, the remaining image results from the concentrated ink settling out (delaminating). I’m still very much in the experimental stage and cannot yet produce anything like the demo video but am enjoying the opportunity to try something new and different.

These inks are really fun to use. We've had rainy weather, so I tested them inside. Since I was inside, I didn't want to use the alcohol so liberally. So, I applied the Ice and Lipstick inks directly to Mod-Podge covered tea paper. Then I added quite a bit of 91% isopropyl alcohol several times using one of the enclosed pipettes. Instead of tilting the paper, I used a squeeze blower to move the inks around. Because of this they weren't as free to flow as they would have been if I used a super-smooth synthetic surface outdoors with a liberal application of alcohol. The photos show the result I got on the tan paper as well as the level of granulation I achieved with the more modest use of alcohol. I was surprised by how opaque these inks are and look forward to using them on more tinted surfaces as well as trying them on black surfaces. The odor was less than I've noticed with other alcohol inks, though--to use them properly--you need to apply a lot of alcohol to them. The colors are beautiful and are perfect for making mountain, water, and sunset scenes. In terms of value, they are slightly more expensive than the name brand ones that I usually by. However, I think they are a good value because they do things my name brand ones won't (granulating and providing opacity without shimmer). I recommend them without hesitation.

Jury is still out, i haven’t had the time to fully explore the possibilities yet. This product came up as I was looking for alcohol inks, I assumed it was an alcohol ink but it turned out that you had to mix the paint with alcohol to use. Mixing cups and tools would have been handy to have in the set.

This entire brand is amazing. I especially love the delaminating inks, they create such unique effects!
