I used this along with two #4 turnouts to build a wye for reversing my trains. The build quality was better than i had been led to believe and I have had no problems with derailments through this or either of the turnouts. While it is a bit pricey, I believe that the value of it in this case was very high.

Excellent product from Kato, just like all of the other products they make. More expensive but worth it. One thing I would like to see is an enclosure with the product that makes suggestions on which type of curved and straight track best aligns with a wye like this. I haven't used a wye turnout before, so a few suggestions and "don't use this track with ..." would be helpful for novices. Great product. No complaints at all
