Purchased this for a friend who wants to get into PLC programming, It does not come with any documentation but there is a program already in it to demonstrate the functions for inputs/outputs and the analogue channels.First thing is the PLC parameter file cannot be read or written to it shows an error, for this board you have to set the PLC Parameter in GX Developer memory size to 8000 steps or it will not download and you cannot change the retentive memory, you cannot do on-line changes it tends to lock up for a minute then reports a communication error, The only communication setting is 38kb it does not work on any other (the real FX will auto negotiate the Baud rate) but in general, it works quite well and would be useful for learning PLC's so for the money it seems to be worth it.

Ne ho acquistato prima uno per provarlo visto il prezzo allettante. Il PLC è un clone di un Mitsubishi FX3U e ha alcune limiti rispetto all'originale. Prima cosa la velocità sulla porta RS232 che è fissa a 38400 b/s e non sembra si possa cambiare. Per configurare il PLC occorre il programma GP Developer (V8.0 o superiore) oppure il GX Work2 (V.1). Io volevo utilizzarlo principalmente in Modbus RTU e non esistendo documentazione con il prodotto mi sono affidato al alcuni tutorial in rete e dopo numerose prove sono riuscito a farlo comunicare in ModBus ma solo sulla porta RS485 (sono i due morsetti marcati A+ / B-) . Tramite alcune istruzioni nel programma si impostano i parametri di comunicazione. Non ho ancora avuto modo di provare gli ingressi e uscite analogiche perchè sto cercando di documentarmi. Sotto il profilo del funzionamento come PLC è tal quale all'originale, utilizzando le stesse istruzioni. Con GX Work 2 si possono realizzare anche blocchi funzioni personali.Una piccola osservazione su un dettaglio costruttivo, che non inficia il funzionamento ma che potrebbe essere migliorato: come si vede dalla prima foto il connettore delle analogiche e della RS485 è montato inclinato perchèil basamento in plastica era concepito solo per morsettiera anteriore e posteriore. Infatti si vede che per la morsettiera piu piccola sono stati tranciate alcune traverse di plastica mentre non si è agito sul basamento. Si è preferito saldare la morsettiera storta ! Questo non cambia la valutazione sul prodotto che nel rapporto prezzo/prestazioni è eccellente. Simili dispositivi possono essere ampiamente utilizzati per Industria 4.0 per portare automazione a basso costo anche su macchine molto datate con clienti che non vogliono investire molto.Ho notato che dopo che ho acquistato gli altri due pezzi rimasti a quel prezzo , sul sito tutti i prezzi dello stesso PLC sono aumentati e alcuni di parecchio.
