I installed this on a Gen-1 Mercruiser outdrive. If you don't care that is works backwards then install it upside-down to get the affect you may want or keep looking for something else.

I haven't installed it yet, however the gauge looks really nice and the installation looks to be user friendly

not easy to install, too many different colors cables to connect have doubt make the connection right will need assistance to install it right.

Hardest part was finding outboard trim sending unit wire, which was brown with white stripe on my mercury. My outboard was a 4 stroke EFi, so I used the yellow with black stripe inside wiring harness that run all the way to ignition switch. Yellow with black wire was for manual choke when you push ignition switch in. Fuel injection doesn't need a choke.
