Ich habe die Boxen ausgetauscht gegen RB 81ii, welche nun im Wohnzimmer ihren Platz finden. Die neuen R-28F stehen jetzt in meiner Männerhöhle als Stereoboxen. Da ich als Hifi-Fan stets auf einen Subwoofer beim Musikhören verzichte, wollte ich das gewisse Quäntchen "Mehr" an Wumms und wurde nicht enttäuscht. "Frontfire" ist für mich sehr wichtig, da ich meine Räumlichkeit quer eingerichtet habe und so können die Boxen absolut wandnah stehen ohne Einbußen. Ob sie wirklich eine Einspielzeit benötigen, kann ich nicht sagen, aber sie klingen phantastisch mit jeglicher Art von Musik, auch Metal ist nicht schrill, sondern relativ harmonisch, was jedoch von den Aufnahmequalitäten abhängt, ist ja logisch... Ich betreibe diese Quader zusammen mit einem Topping-(octo)-DAC und einem Cayin-Röhrenverstärker mit KT88-Endstufenröhren. Eine wunderschöne Harmonie ! Es macht einfach unendlich viel Spaß, Musik zu hören !Ich habe heute das sogenannte Bi-Amping ausprobiert, horizontal, sowie vertikal. Bitte Finger weg von solchen Ideen. Grausam ! Was soll der Quatsch ? Man muß jeden Amp einzeln einregeln. und das immer wieder ? Klangverbesserungen sehe ich Keine !Also zurück zur regulären Verkabelung und siehe da... Neil Young mit "Love is a rose" und du wirst dir bewusst, daß ein Mensch nicht allein aus Fleisch und Blut besteht. Wahnsinniger Tiefgang und Detailreichtum, so lieben wir es doch !Den Versand bewerte ich hier nicht. Allerdings... wenn da steht, die Boxen kommen genau 7 Tage später, dann ist es auch so. Schade, aber sie kamen heile an, wenn auch per DHL, sodass die arme Frau die schweren Kartons vor dem Gartentor abstellen musste, weil sie einfach nicht die Power hatte, sie bis vor die Haustür zu stellen....

Update: Now that I have had time to break them in a bit, I find the bass is tightening up and is less boomy/muddy than they did at first. Adding a star since they now sound like I hoped they would. I put about 20 hours into breaking them in of mixed music.First impressions.....like others have said these speakers are huge and heavy. Make sure you have room for them. It was a challenge to get them out of the boxes. I could have just cut the box down the side, but I wanted to save them for transporting them later and in case of needing to ship back due to defects.Previously I was using a Klipsch Quintet XL surround system with a Sony 12" Sub and at first the R-28fs didn't sound quite right. I remembered that I had set the speaker size to small for the Quintets in my receiver which was cutting out the bass frequencies. Once I set them to large, they were passing the full range of audio. Still, they didn't quite sound as good as I hoped. I had become so used to the audio signature of the smaller speakers that I needed to make a lot more audio adjustment. Once I dialed that in and set the source to a more neutral output, these speakers began to shine. If there is any distortion or over compression in the audio source, these speakers will reveal it all. You need to have patience when initially setting them up to make them sound their best. Right now I can only afford just the pair so I am continuing to use the Quintets for my center and surrounds. They seem to work fairly well together once I compensated for the differences in sensitivity. I am powering these with a Pioneer VSK-521-K. It has 80 watts of output per channel which is more than enough to produce room filling sound. Although these go down to 35hz, they cannot replace a properly tuned subwoofer. The bass coming from them sounded a bit too boomy to my liking. Knowing this now, I probably should have stuck with the smaller R-26Fs.The speaker grills were disappointing. They work themselves off slowly and not due to vibrations. They don't seem to have exactly the correct dimensions needed to align with the mounting holes without placing tension on the posts. The grills are made of flimsy plastic which belies the premium speakers these are supposed to be. Since the grills are not necessary, this isn't a deal killer albeit disappointing. The speakers looks great with or without them.

Diffusori consegnati con 2 gg. di anticipo, che dire: STUPENDI!!!subito scollegate le indiana line tesi 560 e collegate le R-28F nonostante fossero perfettamente nuove e quindi da rodare, ho avuto la sensazione di uscire da una cantina!!!!!APERTE, VIVE, FRIZZANTI, con ottima resa nei bassi e se penso che usandole possono solo migliorare.......non c'è proprio confronto (tutto questo a mio personalissimo parere, ma anche di chi era presente al test)Soldi ben spesi, GrazieMauro

For those of you just wanting to know if id recommend these or buy them again then yes and for the rest i was waiting a few months to write a review on these and here I am. I've had a pair of these for about 8 months now and I couldn't be much happier with them. The only complaint I have is that the tweeters are a little harsh in the high end but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's more noticeable at higher volumes. I'm running these with a r12sw now and they compliment each other very well. I'm only running 95 watts rms to each speaker so I can't speak on their rated 150 but even at 95 each I can hear them clear across the street. I highly recommend these to anyone. The reference premiere line have better tweeters they are softer but I couldn't justify the extra $500 for the pair. I've heard multiple towers in this price range and these are by far the best as far as performance and appearance. Excellent sound staging. If you get these do yourself a favor and take the time to properly set these up.

Ich überspringe Daten, Eigenschaften usw und versuche mich kurz aufs Wesentliche zu konzentrieren.Die Klipsch LS muss man einfach in ihrer Kategorie betrachten: für weit unter 300€ pro Stück aktuell bekommt man ein Paar gut verarbeitete, gut ausgestattete und optisch imposante Lautsprecher. Sicherlich kann man bei der Optik streiten und vielleicht schaffen es andere Hersteller höherwertige Materialien zu verwenden (diese LS oder Hersteller muss man aber auch erstmal finden) als Klipsch das tut. Dennoch bin ich voll zufrieden. Die Alu-Imitatumkleidung fasst sich gut an und wurde bei mir ohne Fehler verarbeitet. Die Standfüße gehen OK, die in Kupfer leuchtenden Speaker sind sicherlich ein Grund für den Kauf gewesen (Industrial Design vor Betonwand). Die Horn Kalotte ist sicherlich ebenfalls ein Hingucker und sauber verarbeitet.Klipsch typisch gibt es Bi-Wiring Terminals auf der Rückseite, damit Tief- und Hochton, wenn es der Verstärker unterstützt, getrennt übermittelt werden können.Klanglich sind die LS das Beste, was ich bis Dato besessen habe, und ich habe von echten alten Hifi LS bis hin zu Teufel Systemen alles gehabt. Die für Hornlautsprecher immer wieder gelobte Präsents, Raumdynamik und nicht übertrieben Härte kann ich nur teilen. Hier muss ich kein Treble am Verstärker hoch- oder runterdrehen. Für mich passt es in allen Lebens- (Lautstärke-)lagen. Die Mitten sind sicherlich nicht betont, aber präsent und passend. Der Bass ist trocken und bei höherer Lautstärke deutlich fühlbar. Setzt man Bass auf zB +3 kann ich fast auf meinen heißgeliebten Subwoofer verzichten und selbst bei Filmen kommt genug rüber. Lediglich bei sehr tiefen Frequenzen, ich vermute zwischen 25 und 40Hz, ist ein echter Subwoofer als Unterstützung von Vorteil. Für echten Musikgenuß und eine neutrale Klangcharakteristik bedarf es jedenfalls dessen nicht.Erwähnen möchte ich kurz den tollen Wirkungsgrad dieser LS, der bei 97db pro Watt bei 1m liegt. Was heißt das konkret? Bei gleichem Verstärker macht bei der Lautstärke -20 diese Standbox richtig "Alarm". Eine andere Standbox mit weniger als 90db pro W/m gibt bei gleicher Leistung gerade einmal die Hälfte der Lautstärke wieder.Kritisieren kann man bestimmt etwas. Die Boxen sind echt groß! Für zwei davon muss man erstmal Platz finden und einen Raumaufbau ermöglichen können, der diese Lautsprecher zur Geltung kommen lässt.

FANTASTIC Speaker. Originally was going to go with the smaller version with the 6in woofers however I heard these at a local electronics shop and the difference just blew me away. I'm not currently using these to their full potential, I have them hooked up to a Yamaha receiver from a Home Theater In a Box set up but wow, the sound that comes out of these towers is amazing! I had two of these set up by themselves and I thought the sound couldn't get much better but then I added the Klipsch center channel from this series and everything just pops, sound is crisp, vocals are phenomenal, and bass is deep. Almost didn't need a sub but not quite at that point but close.I picked these out not only for the quality but the price. Now you might look at the price (whatever they are currently at) and think "what is he talking about these are expensive". Do yourself a favor, do NOT research higher quality speakers, once you get past this range speakers get very high in price but the quality is nothing like your normal Home Theatre In A Box setups, its honestly like night and day. These speakers come close, in my mind, to those much higher priced speakers (at least the "lower" end).Pros:- Sound quality for the price range is fantastic- Extremely efficient, you wont need to pump a constant 1 million giggawatts into these to get great sound- The style stands out and you have the option of putting the grills on for a more "standard" look- Build quality is great, I feel like if these fell it wouldn't be the end of the world and the woofers do not feel like they are made of tissue paper and held in with staples like some other brandsCons:- Size: Be aware, these speakers are BIG. Make sure you have the proper room to give them and let them breathe before buying them.

Musicalmente eccellente, suono pulito, di una fedeltà stupefacente, con i suoi woofer da 8" 20 cm di diametro danno ai toni bassi un suono morbido e potente, con amplificatore technics da 140 w per canale anche al minimo il suono non delude mai, generi ascoltati fino ad'ora jazz, acustico, blues, rock, hard rock, metal, grange, crossover, rap e country, quindi eccellente per ogni genere.Solo una nota negativa ma che non influisce musicalmente, l'estetica troppo spigolosa della cassa, a differenza di molte altre concorrenti di pari livello e costo, non ha una rifinitura elaborata, la cassa è ben insonorizzata che appoggiando la mano sul mobile non si percepisce la minima vibrazione e questo è ottimo ma se avesse avuto un disegno più morbido non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto.

..erstmal Vielen Dank für die sehr schnelle Lieferung -fast eine Woche vor Liefertermin.Eigentlich ist nicht soviel zu sagen --Klipsch ist einfach eine Hausnummer --schon beim Auspacken bemerkt man wie dominant diese Box ist --eine Optik die nicht hinter dem Berg hält --super saubere Verarbeitung, keine störenden schrauben an der Frontseite- die Goldfarbenden Lautsprecher sind sehr sauber eingearbeitet und stehen für ein Zeitloses Design welches auch in einigen Jahren nicht out ist. Das sind Boxen die sich optisch in den Vordergrund drängen --das muss man mögen.Aber wie klingen sie ? Gut ,habe die Boxen 4 Stunden bei Zimmertemperatur stehen lassen dann angeschlossen ( höre vorrangig Schallplatten im reinen Stereobetrieb) dann erstmal mit ruhigen stücken angefangen --da hat sich erstmal ein positives grinsen in meinem Gesicht breit gemacht -um es kurz zu machen man muss es erleben , selber hören ....... ok hören ist subjektiv, darum kann ich nur sagen für meine ansprüche ist das eine super Box , 620 Euro für soviel Sound und Optik also ehrlich mehr geht nicht - nur an Rande- habe natürlich vorher andere Hersteller in diesem Preissegment ausprobiert ( Canton ,Teufel,u.s.w ) die wirken dagegen wie Mädchenboxen... einzig die Dali Zensor konnten mich noch überzeugen aber da störten mich die Farbgebung der Lautsprecher. Mein Fazit: für den reinen Musikgenuss ist diese Box erste Liga --wie gesagt Preis/Leistung nicht zu toppen ---Meine Meinung .
