Die Fives haben mir sofort optisch sehr gut gefallen und bauen für ihre Größe erstaunlichen Druck und Lautstärke auf. Zunächst hat mich allerdings der überbetonte Bass genervt und ich konnte auch die Klipsch Connect App nicht nutzen. Grund: man muss erst eine neue Firmware herunterladen und per USB-Stick aufspielen. Danach kann man die App zur Klangsteuerung einsetzen. Habe den Bass um 4-5 dB gesenkt, die Parameter für Mitten und Höhen auf 0 gelassen. So klingen die "Kleinen" erstaunlich gut und sehr lebendig. Mit der beiliegenden Fernbedienung kann man u.a. die Lautstärke regeln, aber das geschieht mit wenig Feingefühl. Da gibt es sensiblere Fernbedienungen, ist für mich aber nicht so schlimm. Insgesamt machen die Dinger jedenfalls großen Spaß und das für einen wirklich fairen Preis. Würde sie -nach anfänglichem Zögern wegen Bassproblematik- wieder kaufen.

Ich bin begeistert, was diese "kleinen Boxen" an Power und Klang ausgeben. Sehr gute Ausstattung und leichte Einrichtung. Top Verarbeitung. Sogar ein HDMI und opt. Dig.-Kabel wurde beigefügt. Meine knapp 30m3 werden gut beschallt und der Bass ist auch ausreichend. Verwende sie nur mit Phono und streaming.Ich kann sie bedenkenlos empfehlen und würde sie wieder kaufen!

It produces good sound. Low tones are only heard when it is played loud. So I connected an entry-level woofer, and now it is great. Upgrading the firmware to be able to use the mobile phone as an equalizer did not work, so I will have to contact support to solve this.

I am very pleasantly surprised with the possibilities of the speakers! I really do like them! To be honest I did not expect so much power from so little speakers. If you make a test with a friend who did not see them and make him listen he will be amazed from the size when he see them after that.

Acquistate per avere una fonte musicale mobile da portare fuori nello spazio esterno di casa, e per questo ho scelto delle casse amplificate. al primo utilizzo è necessario aggiornare il firmware. Il suono dipende molto dalla sorgente, dalle vostre pretese e dal tipo di musica che si ascolta. Le ho usate con un semplice smartphone/tablet, suonano bene ma aumentando il volume i bassi si sovraccaricano, (posizione, ambiente, etc) quindi usando l'equalizzatore dell'app Klipsch ho ridotto il livello delle basse frequenze. Ho accoppiato le casse ad un preampli-player Yamaha WXC-50, bella accoppiata! Chiaramente la nuova sorgente ha fatto la differenza rispetto allo smartphone/tablet.

The fit and finish on these speakers is beautiful. This version came with 2 grill options. The soundstage is much bigger than the speakers would suggest. The versatility of inputs rivals separates.However, the bass is absolutely booming. Even for a bass head, it drowns out the rest of the range. Vocals are muffled, both music and movies. Even messing with the virtual EQ just makes the vocals tinny and never bright.Finally, the App experience is terrible. 2 apps: 1 to update the firmware, which took me over an hour and 5 failed attempts to complete. Then a separate app for controlling the features of the speaker such as EQ, bass boost, etc. This second app “failed to connect” to the speakers every time I opened the app, but somehow still was able to control them. When the app closed, the speaker settings were lost.I usually love how Klipsch sounds, but the mids and highs on these speakers were super repressed until fairly high volume. Unfortunately the sound profile of these doesn’t suit my taste and the UX is awful, but the concept fills a gap in the market that not many other products address.

Dieser Lautsprecher klingt größer als er ist!Man sollte sich auf jeden Fall die App downloaden, mir der App kann man die Klipsch wunderbar einstellen!Die Fives funktionieren im Wohnzimmer genauso wie am PC.Der Bass ist für so einen kleinen Lautsprecher erstaunlich, die Mitten sind natürlich, also unverfälscht, der Hochton ist für ein Horn sehr fein, niemals lästig oder übertrieben!Die Klipsch ist für alle Musikrichtungen geeignet, egal ob Rock oder Pop!Ein kleiner Tipp zur Klang Einstellung, den Dynamischen Bass Equalizer auf on stellen, im drei Band Equalizer den Bass minus 4-5 dB einstellen, die Mitten sowie den Hochton auf 0 Db belassen, die Einstellung der Lautsprecherplatzierung auf Other stellen, schon hat man einen richtig guten Klang.Da jeder Mensch anders hört, sollte man sich die Fives bestellen und sich selbst davon überzeugen.

Update: what I wrote below was true for a few months. The speakers no longer work. I can connect to them via the Klipsch Connect app and change all the settings, change input source, etc., but the speakers just don’t produce any sound at all, they’ve gone mute. No sound via either HDMI eARC or via Bluetooth. I’ve tried everything. The firmware is up to date, the iOS app is up to date. I reset the speakers to factory settings. They just refuse to produce any sound at all. I contacted the manufacturer via their website, and their response was useless. Nothing else to do now but throwing them in the trash.These things are great. I bought these to be my all-in-one go-to solution for my media center. I’m not an audiophile. I connected them to the TV via HDMI Arc, and after a few tests: movie: Star Wars IX, music (heavy metal, hard rock, soft rock), and radio I am loving these speakers.One, and Breadfan from Metallica sound as if Lars was in the room with me.Telegraph Road of Dire Straits sounds amazing, I had never heard that bass before!During Star Wars IX, when the bad guy speaks with a very grave voice, the dialogue is 100% intelligible (I watched the same movie last week using the TV internal speakers and I had trouble understanding some of the dialogue). The sounds out of the light savers during fights are next level (compared to the TV internal speakers).On the radio, voices sound natural as if I was talking with the radio host in person.The bass very nice, but not thumping or overwhelming; surely more than enough for me. I had my eye on a small Klipsch subwoofer, but after listening to The Fives in my medium size room, the bass is plenty. Even though I have the speakers separated from the wall about 30cm, I think I need a couple of sound absorber panels to go between the speaker and the wall.I saw on YouTube reviews that Klipsch may in the future provide the ability to customize the EQ via the Klipsch Connect app. I did connect the speakers to the app, and updated the firmware, but EQ customization is not available through the app as of March 3 2021. In any case, for my personal taste in music, these speakers have the perfect sound signature.I love the simplicity and versatility. At the moment I only need the HDMI arc connection, but I’m also covered if I want to connect other sources in the future. And I don’t need an AV Receiver!The wood finish and the knobs have a premium feel. These things definitely feel as high quality as they are priced. I’m very happy with this purchase. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and pull the trigger. These speakers sound delicious.

Unos altavoces y un amplificador de alta gama, con extraordinaria conectividad... y una pésima ecualización.Estoy encantado con mis Klipsch 600, un sonido dinámico y vivo. Necesitaba cambiar otro sistema vinculado a mi tv y pensé en Klipsch frente a opciones como KEF, suponiendo que el sello de la marca se impondría. Está claro que sus componentes acústicos y el circuito es de gran calidad y ofrecen un sonido cálido y robusto, pero parece que lo diseñaron pensando obsesivamente en los graves, potenciándolos en extremos y descuidando el resto de las frecuencias, hasta el punto de impedir por todos los medios su ajuste manual. Y aunque la frecuencia ya parece inclinada a los graves, todas las opciones del mando van en la línea de reforzarlos, sin ninguna opción para realzar medios o agudos. Puede resultar agradable con películas o música clásica, pero con otros estilos es como si los altavoces sonaran desde dentro de un cajón, sin huella del impacto cristalino de otros modelos Klipsch. No hay forma de dar relieve al sonido u oxigenarlo en caso de grabaciones apagadas. Así, por poner un ejemplo conocido, en canciones como Sultans of Swing de Dire Straits, es como si los platillos sonaran en la lejanía por el micrófono del bombo. Y es que a veces apetece darle al sonido más brillo...Me he visto obligado a añadirle un ecualizador externo y todo ha cambiado de forma extraordinaria, pero claro, eso implica también emplear como puente un DAC, y ambos de buena calidad para respetar la altura de los altavoces. El caso es que el precio aumenta aún más y pierde sentido haber pagado tanto por su amplia conectividad si al final es preciso añadirle un DAC. Klipsch Lo hubiera tenido tan fácil como añadir para este modelo las opciones de ecualización en la App de Klipsch Connect, pero inexplicablemente no lo ven necesario: la ofrecen para sus auriculares pero no para estos monitores de casi 1000 euros.

These are my first Klipsch speakers. In the past I have used Logitech, kitsound, Sony and edifier speakers. Currently I have the Sonos Arc.I spent much time reading about these speakers and watching various review of the “soundbar killer” which these have been dubbed by several reviewers. When I saw them available for per order from amazon for £630 I thought this must have been a mistake but hit purchase any way. The worse case scenario they cancel my order if it was an error or I get the bargain of the month! Anyway, they arrived to my surprise so even before I opened the box, these speakers had made their way into my good books!Set up took about 3 minutes once everything was out of the box and I made sure to run the latest firmware update via Bluetooth using the mobile phone app. I went for a arc connection set up with my LG CX 48 television which was a breeze and allows the tv remote to control the volume, but you will want to keep the Fives remote at hand in the first few hours of use while you work out the sub settings.So far I’m really happy with these speakers and enjoy the way they sound, they seem to make you want to listen to them to hear how they transform the audio of your games, movies and music. They add a really nice rumbling bass without distortion and the bass also scales nicely with the volume so even with the volume low you get good lows.Games like the last of us 2 sound brilliant with these, just fire your gun and it sounds so realistic. The sound is so immersive it seems to give you a surround feel even though they are in stereo, this is surprising when you consider their size. It just goes to show how good quality hardware can make software solutions less important. Need for speed is another game I tried which really makes good use of the deep bass which helps get you into the game. Streets of Rage 4 sounds fantastic, you really need to hear it!I rewatched Captain Marvel with these speakers and they completely transformed the sound into something else, everything was so loud and clear and the only way I think I could get a better experience would be by going to the cinema. You really don’t need anything else to supplement these speakers.I don’t yet have a subwoofer but will try one as I have heard connecting the sub to the fives will cause them to transfer all the lows to the sub which in turn will allow the mid range to expand in some way. I’ll update the review if/ when I do this (right now I’m thinking a sub is not necessary).I should mention I bought the walnut colour and I can tell you they look as fantastic as they sound and the build quality is incredibly solid. The photos of these speakers don’t really do them justice as they look much better in real life. Even my wife who doesn’t like me buying speakers commented how good they look, at her own volition. She also listened to some songs on them which was also a first.I also own a Sonos Arc with the sub 3 and can say the Fives seem to excel in the areas where the Arc is struggles such as offering a much better sound stage, however the Arc does this speech enhancement which sounds brilliant, so it took me a while to get used to the way the fives produce speech in its own way.If your looking for a soundbar you should definitely consider these speakers. They don’t support Dolby Atmos but when the hardware is this good they don’t need it and the speakers offer full immersion by themselves (having experienced Dolby atmos on my Sonos arc). The Fives connect to you tv via arc instead of earc, but you aren’t missing anything by them not having earc because earc does nothing for stereo 2.0 or 2.1 set ups, so don’t worry about it. You also have lots of other connections to chose from making them ideal for lots of devices.Are they soundbar killers though? To be fair the Fives are capable of blowing much of their competition out of the water (or off the bookshelf), soundbar or not. They are just seriously very good and enjoyable to have in your home.The Klipsch Fives gets five out of five.Update:I have tried these speakers with the KEF T2 subwoofer and they work brilliantly with it. All the bass comes out of the sub which allows the speakers to focus more on the minds and highs. It sounds much better but I would say you would need a very good sub if you want to improve the upon the already very good bass from these speakers. I went with the KEF T2 sub because I needed something slim in size and thankfully goes well with the fives. If you do attached a sub make sure you set the bass to 100% on the speakers then reduce it to the desirable level. Also the bass from the sub with scale with the volume so it will remain present at a low volume without becoming overbearing.
