For small gauge wires, these pliers are great.Build quality: 5 starsKnipex makes the best. I've bought all the big box store versions of these at Home Depot etc, don't waste your time or money, buy this and it will be the only one you need if you are doing work with smaller wires.

Precision tool that cuts neatly with little effort. Strips common Romex conductors better than any other tool I've used. These are stored with my electrical connectors, wire, etc so I don't let them get used like mere pliers. Cost is equal to quality.

Perfect little electrician's pliers ... what more to say? Knipex seems to design everything to work well in the hand, function without fail, and last forever. The bad news: pricey, pricey, pricey.
