its good quality but prefer needle nose. Use for work and for pin removal I use a long needlenose as these are at a very awkward angle. I was told to get these, but its really for light tasks at an awkward angle as it is hard to position these correctly and generate significant pulling/pushing force where a needle nose you can do this if you line up pliers.

Why am I writing reviews now for pliers? I don't know. But these things are beautiful, with nice, large grips made of a high quality material with superb grip and texture. They're just a pleasure to use and own. I use them for electronics, and they're a bit overkill for that purpose, most days, except when I want to straighten leads and get stuck things unstuck. Why is Germany known for producing such craftsmanship? I dunno, but the world benefits. Well done KNIPEX. Pricey, but a lifetime tool.
