I love this thing. It’s built of solid metal which might be a concern if weight is an issue. I love it. It’ll last a lifetime and beyond and has that classic Kodak look.

Well I had high hopes after seeing the adds and reviews about this Kodak film case, which I will acknowledge is very well made, very sturdy and looks cool and pretty with the Kodak logo on it too. The downside is that it’s rubbish in my opinion for carrying your film around in, first of all it weighs a tonne, so not ideal for carrying around with you on photoshoots, but far worse than that is that it doesn’t fit your rolls of 35mm film inside, unless you remove the plastic film canister first, even when you remove the optional inner case, so not only does that provide less protection for your treasured film, but irritatingly it allows the film canister to rattle about in the tin as you walk about. One consolation was that I did find that if you removed the polystyrene type inner packing of the cardboard box that the tin came in, you can store 8 rolls of film in there quite snuggly whilst still in the min boxes your film comes in when you purchase it, but a hefty sum to pay for a cardboard box, so my recommendation is to save yourself £25 and instead buy yourself some more rolls of film and find yourself an old box from somewhere to carry them in

I initially thought the tin case was rather expensive but decided to purchase to neatly store 120 film in a camera bag. On arrival, I was impressed by the packaging and quality of the case/tin. The packaging is great and the case is structurally very solid and lined to house 35mm cannisters. I intend to use for 120 film, it will store four rolls which is ample for my needs. It is quite an expensive tin but like all things in life you are paying a premium for the branding.

I honestly didn’t know how small the box would be but I love how it’s not too bulky ! Also very stylish. I’m glad I went through with the purchase! The price is a little high but I got notified when they had a sale and ran to buy it !
