I used this to create a vie ferreta y lanyard. This issues with many via ferreta vita it that they’re single use only…… and so the question is what do you use incase you fall again??This Kong Kisa shock absorber allows you to reset your device and use it multiple times in a row.

ATTENZIONE - Se montato male ti ammazzi! - Buon prodotto.

Together with Kong Connection Aluminium Tango Black, I built my own Via Ferrata Kit very easily. And it can be "recharged" after a fall without being forced to have a backup kit the the Rucksack. Please note that the number of maximum falls allowed depends on the technical data of the rope used.

Got back into climbing for my sons. We use trees since there are not a ton of cliff faces in Florida.Easy to get them off the games now. But, when you are on a static line and find yourself (for whatever reason) dropping like a rock, you know that you have at least a foot or two to decelerate before the jerk. One of my kids (young man) was rappelling with a "decender" ( the of the most popular ones). And was a bit to easy on the belay and to strong on the lever. I should have spent more time with him waist level before I let him go up. Needless to say the drop was split second and the catch was not pretty. He's lucky (and very flexible) and didn't get hurt.So now everybody has a KONG and is leaning their custom size rope and wraps to slow them before the jerk. It is basically a resettable screamer. It can be a pain to reset if you are loaded on it. But to have a screamer that can be reset is very nice. Get a bite, tie off, clip on, work your loops open on the Kong and pull more line. So not only is it resettable, but it is very adjustable for your weight and length of deceleration. Just don't forget the stopper knot!
