I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the wood selected for this corkscrew. This is typically a reputable manufacturer, so it makes it even worse. Whoever selected the wood and thought it was acceptable should be replaced immediately.

I've given this wine key as a gift three different times. Everyone that I've gifted it to raves about it long after receiving it. It's very high quality and a piece that can be handed down in families. The wooden box that it comes in is lovely and great for storage and the juniper wood has this magnificent fragrance that everyone loves. A great gift idea for wine lovers or anyone who entertains.

OK, I like this a lot. It is still loosening up a bit - at first, the fold-out parts were very stiff. It is a great looking corkscrew, and nicely made - and it works well. I really like the use of Juniper for the scales - it is nice looking, has a nice feel, and is not part of an animal. (Olive, grape etc all look nice as well).
