I expected this to be beautiful, just like the picture as it is a Laura Ashley bed skirt.It is extremely thin, about 9 cm short of the length of a standard double bed - called ‘full’ on the options. Luckily, I only needed two sides to work so it was usable with some clever working.No, I expected at all from a name like Laura Ashley!!

This bed skirt needs to be ironed when you take it out of the package but it looks so good on your bed. Make sure you measure the actual distance you need from the top of your box spring to the floor. This length was perfect for me - just about 1/2 inch above the floor. If I had purchased a longer size, it would have looked bad.

I was disappointed with the fabric which lies across the bed base - I washed and ironed the bedskirt before putting on the bed and when the iron touched this area it "grabbed". Obviously very heat sensitive. The skirt part is acceptable, not, in my opinion "Luxury Bedroom Decor". However, it was a reasonable price.

I was adjusting the bedskirt and gently putting it in place when it tore completely. I cannot recommend this product—it’s made of cheap, thin material that breaks easily.
