Although we have bought lick plates before, this is the first and only lick plate that actually functions as described. It easily attaches to the crate and to the corral and cleans up beautifully. Also - it's much better to have the licking plate attached to a crate wall (our dog doesn't get any food on her paws or chin this way). Comes with a brush for cleaning. Clever and super product! Our dog loves it and so do we!

Lick mats seem to be all the craze now for dogs, so of course I had to get one for mine. The first mat I got did not stick to anything except glass and the dishwasher. So I got this one to attach to his cage, which works very well. As I was reading the box I noticed that it said it could be used on the floor also once you remove the screw in the back. I was skeptical about this because there were no suction cups. However the silicone strips on the back do prevent it from sliding around on the floor as a dog is licking it. This obviously works much better than a little suction suction cups on others. This is a great lick mat for dogs that can be used in various ways, and I highly recommend it. So does my dog Max!

I can't imagine I'm the only one whose dog licks this mat so vigorously that it eventually loosens and falls off then kennel. We foster puppies, so this mat takes a lot of abuse, but we've recently discovered that our puppies sometimes lick it so long that it loosens on the bars of the kennel and falls right off. We've tried tightening it as much as possible, but they are ferocious. For an average use, I think this is a great product. It has been easy to clean and we've loaded it up with all sorts of good for puppies and dogs snacks with no problem. It sits well in the freezer and they all absolutely love mat time, so overall I would recommend this. Just be aware that hyper licking gremlin puppies could loosen it off the kennel and it may get chewed up which it handles fairly well, but it's definitely not indestructible.

My baby girl has this if I go out so it’s better to put it on the door of her cage then she has plenty of space for toys to she loves it

Our puppy loves this! We wanted something to leave in the crate with her for a distraction, but since she had already started to chew on her bed, we did not want to put a toy such as a Kong that might get peanut butter onto the bed and encourage her to chew it more. This has worked perfectly! It screws securely through the bars of the crate, and does not get on the bed. It also works well in the freezer to make it last a little longer! It came with a brush and a small spatula too, that make cleaning and reapplying a breeze. She likes to chew things, and has not been able to chew any part of this when it is secured to the crate. She simply licks at it until everything is gone. We're all very satisfied!
