This is new to me and I got it out of sheer curiosity and after futzing with it I can say it's a pretty nifty little gadget for a camera,it's well designed and is easy enough to attach (it screws into the bipod point) fit is good but I ain't sure if it's universal or not, however it fits mine and makes it easier to handle for me,it is for sure study being a hunk of aluminum with a wood handle so I doubt it's fragile. Is it worth it? Yeah, just make sure it fits, seems to be made for a smaller cameras, beyond that it's worth the price.

What I like:- Better grip on the camera- Doesn't increase eight too much- Easy access to battery and tripod mountWhat I don't like:- Gap between handle and camera can flex- Can't use standard X100F/V cases when in use- Hard base seems more likely to scratch than camera baseI've had my Fujifilm X100F for several years, and my complaint has always been the same. When used in what I think of as "tourist mode" hanging on a neck strap with a case wrapped around it it works great, but when I switch to a wrist strap for street photography where I want a solid grip the camera feels like it'll fall out of my hand at a moments notice. So when I saw this handgrip from LEFTPHOTO I thoguht it might be the perfect solution.Off the bat my grip is enhanced, I can point the camera with more confidence and not worry about it twisting or slipping in my hand. The frame screws into the tripod mount on the camera's base, and slim lips on the frame and rubber pads prevent the camera from twisting on the mount unless put under stress. The wooden hand grip isn't entirely ergonomic, and the wood isn't the most visually appealing, but it does increase the size of the grip, allowing my fingers to hug the camera securely when wearing it on a wrist strap. One issue I had is that the wooden frame doesn't make contact directly or via a rubber pad with the front of the camera, and so at times it felt like there was some flex in the wood which could be unnerving. The most obvious problem is that when using this grip plate any form fitting cases you have for the camera will not fit. It adds a good quarter of an inch plus to the camera base, and the grip and cold show attachment increase the width and depth in unique ways. Not a problem when I'm carrying it on my wrist, but it does mean you'll get used to taking the grip off if you like to keep the camera in a fitted case when not in use. Finally, the square cut edges of the grip's base seemed to catch and scratch more surfaces than the camera's normal base-plate. This might be just down to the surfaces I put my camera on, but be aware before putting it down on delicate surfaces. So it is a nice base-plate mount that enhances the grip of your camera. If like me you like to wrist carry and want a better grip it is definitely worth a look. A handy but not quite perfect 4 out of 5 stars.
