I pound the heck out of these and they just won’t quit.

The REAL problem is not this unit, but that OEM manufacturers decided to eliminate embedded NumPads from the keyboards of smaller notebook computers. For decades embedded NumPads were ubiquitous, and people who didn't want to use them didn't have to; and people who wanted to use them could. What was the problem with that design? ¶Separate units like this do enable those of us who don't necessarily need a 15" or larger display all the time to access both a NumPad for calculations and the Alt-X characters that are available directly via the NumPad but not via the row of numbers. My complaint with this Lenovo unit is that its design varies from the design on ThinkPads that do include a NumPad [See the included side-by-side comparison]. Instead of a large "0/Ins" key, the USB unit includes a small "double-zero" key between the "0/Ins" and "./Del" keys; instead of a large "+" key, the USB unit has a small "+" key to make room for a "backspace" key (labeled with a left arrow on the USB unit) above the "-" key. Some may prefer the convenience of these changes, but Lenovo's own customers accustomed to using a Lenovo keyboard with a NumPad may find these changes frustrating. Wouldn't it have been easier to have designed this standalone Lenovo NumPad to be exactly like the ones on Lenovo keyboards, for instance: T570, T580, T590, E15, L15, etc.?

The 0 key was not working great, after popping the cap off and blowing it out, it has been working fine ever since. Has great key action
