I fish.A LOT.I am not tied to any particular brand of reels and decided to give this one a try but my very first trip out with it the line wrapped under the spool and cost me 10 mins on the water to resolve.I'll give it one more trip as my primary reel to see if maybe it was just the new line twisting and a fluke but right now I'm not entirely happy with it.*The reel did operate smooth and cast far aside from the wrapping incident.

When my 20 year old Mitchell finally died I was looking for a suitable replacement and tried this reel. It is a great ultralight. Loaded with 6lb mono for Walleye it works very well.

Solid reel I have the smaller size that I use for UL ice fishing rod and this one I’m going to use for my M ice rod. Buttery smooth and fantastic ice fishing reels for the price you can’t beat it only concern is my other one came in a box and this one game in a plastic box but that’s nothing really to complain about great reel.

The reel is excellent for panfish, the drag system is good, the looks of the reel is awesome for its cheap price, and the reel looks expensive and somewhat also feels expensive and this reel packs a lot for its size and its price
