As a person with slightly bigger hands any grip is better than no grip.

In my case, I purchased this grip bracket for use on my Fujifilm X-T20. I was hesitant at first due to the added bulk and weight. This quickly subsided as I found the added grip to be so significant that the camera actually seems to feel lighter in my hand now than it did before. Between the light rosewood and the aluminum of the frame, the added weight is not a large amount. The bracket has a standard threaded mounting hole for tripods and there is an opening for battery and SD card removal without having to take the bracket off. I'm actually not sure this is rosewood, but I'm no wood expert and it doesn't feel like cheap wood. Further, it has a nice coating on it that will help it last many years while resisting oils and moisture encroachment from heavy use.

Loved it but it made the camera very heavy. Had to return it.

Adds the necessary bulk to the undersized Fuji body so that I can hold onto it and feel secure. Basically makes it feel like a full-frame DSLR. Great price as well.

I ordered this grip for my X-T30 and couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve previously used one that has a metal grip that actually extends forward a little further and offers an “L” bracket design. While this product doesn’t allow me to mount the camera vertically on an Arca Swiss-type mount, I’m seldom using a tripod when I am going for compactness, or pocketability. And compactness was the reason I added the X-T30 to my larger Fuji camera. And it does give me the benefit of an always-present provision for quick-mounting the camera to my tripod in landscape mode, should I need it. Also, pretty much any of my tripod heads will allow the camera to tilt 90 degrees for portrait-mode shots anyway.Of course, the product is designed to give easy access to my battery and SD card, so the handle can live on my X-T30 24/7.The feel of the wooden grip in my hand is far superior to that of the X-T30 without it. It doesn’t provide quite as deep a grip as the metal one I’ve been using, but it offers a more angular edge to rest my fingers against, almost a right angle to the face of the camera body. The result is I get at least as good a grip and a little less thickness, from the front of the grip to the camera back, making it easier to shove into my pocket.OK, perhaps the most obvious, though not the most important, reason I love this grip is that it adds another level of class to the appearance of the already ridiculously classy Fuji X-T30. Don’t judge me. At least I admit I like a cool looking piece of gear.Bottom line: if you’re looking to add some class, some grip and an Arca-Swiss quick mount to your camera, here’s an affordable option you should consider.
