Like a few other reviewers, I purchased a non-genuine cover when I got the Libra 2 e-reader from Amazon. I got mine from one of several eBay sellers who offer the fake cover. It was quite good as a protective cover, in fact better than the genuine one because the case has borders on all four sides while the genuine cover is missing a protective border on one side (so that you can slide the e-reader into it),However the fake cover fails in two ways, and it is only a matter of a few millimetres here and there: (A) The top of the cover is too floppy and not precisely shaped and fails to act as a reliable stand; and (B) the Libra 2 has a raised edge near the two buttons, and the fake cover does not take this into account, so that the magnets near the edge that provide the sleep/wake function not to operate properly. while the genuine cover's edge is subtly curved and this enables the sleep/wake function to operate perfectly.I learned my lesson. The moral of this story is to avoid fake copies and only buy the genuine Kobo cover. And I imagine this applies equally to other Kobo e-reader models.

Die Hülle fühlt sich sehr wertig an, ist vom Gefühl her auch etwas schwerer. Die Funktion, dass der eReader automatisch beim Aufklappen angeht und beim Zuklappen ausgeht funktioniert tadellos.Die Farbe ist zudem sehr angenehm für meine Augen. Meiner Meinung nach ist die Hülle ihren recht hohen Preis absolut wert.

Amazon customer service made it difficult because they refused to replace the reader even though they had it available for order. I had to contact Kobo customer service and luckily they have been more than helpful. They arranged a courier pickup and replaced it for a new reader immediately. We will see if the battery problems remain or not.
