(Update v)I would not recommend this product. The bad smell did subside, but the fit turned out to be not tight enough. That has caused a whistling noise where it meets the case.(Update ^)Seems good quality and well made but it had a very strong odour of plastic/chemicals like the smell you sometimes get with cheap Chinese soft plastic items. After leaving outside to out-gas for a week, it seemed OK but I’m hesitant to use it until it has aired out for a few more weeks. I don’t know if the odour came from the product or the packaging.I will update this review once the smell completely disappears.

This replacement filter for my Honeywell HRF-D1-11N Air Purifier is a perfect fit and works well. I was unable to find replacement Honeywell filters locally so turned to Amazon where I found the LifeSupplyUSA filters.
