This product is well made, substantial, easy to read, and very sturdy. I especially like that the cutter can be set in a ridge to keep it up tight against the straight edge, so it will not go off track, and yet even though it is secured, it can be easily moved. Shipping was well boxed and arrivedin great condition. Great job Logan.

I just used this to bevel cut my first matt board opening to frame a photograph. It was very easy to use and worked great. I watched the company's youtube video and it couldn't have been easier to accurately bevel cut the board. Can't beat it for the price.

Great product making it easy to cut out picture mounts. Read the instructions and you can't go wrong.

This works quite well if you want to cut a modest number of mats for yourself. It does take a little strength (my husband could make cuts the first time, but I often had to go over cuts twice). It can also be easier to make good cuts if you have someone else hold the straight edge--a team effort. :-D I recommend cutting two practice mats before cutting one you want to keep. With a little practice, you'll get very pleasing results.

I found the instructions helpful and could start using the cutters immediately. I did not expect this and it was very encouraging. I was disappointed however, in terms of the blade performance on mount board. I realise that even, firm pressure is required when cutting this type of material but I didn't think that the blades coped at all despite the many attempts to perfect. Initially I thought I was trying to cut a large scale mount too early and so tried a smaller scale mount, but still the finish was not as professional as I had hoped. Even when I thought I had achieved the perfect cut, there were areas that the blade had not cut through and on removing the centre which was to be discarded the card tore the outer paper of the outside mount - very frustrating. I am sure that the system will work fine with thinner materials but mount board is listed in this product's capabilities.
