Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Kamera. Nutze sie hauptsächlich für Teams am MacBook. Klares Bild und auch mit verschiedenen Zoom-Einstellunge, so dass man nicht immer direkt mit dem Gesicht vor der Kamera klebt.

Die Logitech MX Brio Ultra HD 4K hat mich als Linux user positiv überrascht. Basierend auf einer hier geposteten Rezension habe ich mir das Teil gekauft. Ich benutzte zuvor die Logitech 922 pro, welche schon ein gutes Bild lieferte und auch unter Linuix läuft, aber Linux User kennen ja die Probleme mit der Hardwre und nicht vorhandenen Treiber und Software. Die Hardware Herstellern behandeln Linux stiefmütterlich. Es gibt zwar noch immer keine Logitech Software für Linux, aber ich brauche die auczh nicht, weil die Logitech MX Brio einfach nur eingesteckt wird und sofort läuft - ohne Treiber. Die Einstellungen mache ich mit dem Programm "Cameractrl". Dort lässt sich u.a. der AUFNAHME WINKEL und der Zoom einstellen. Die Logitech MX Brio liefert ein erheblich besseres Bild (auch bei schwachem Licht) als die Logitech 922 pro. Bessere Schärfe, bessere Farben, besserer Kontrast, bessere FPS. Ich habe allerdings vergeblich versucht die Auflösung zu ändern, aber ich brauche es gar nicht, weil das Bild in der Grundeinstellung Top ist. Einziges Manko ist das zu kurze USB C Kabel. Ich empfehle, für einen PC ein USB C auf USB A Kabel(USB 3.1) 2 m hier bei Amazon für 4,- Euro mitzubestellen. Diese Kamera ist TOP für alle Linux User! Absolute Kaufempfehlung

Eine wirklich hochwertige Kamera, die ihren Preis hat. Man kann sicher auch mit günstigeren Modellen leben / braucht das nicht unbedingt - aber ich bereue die Investition nicht - würde Modelle dieser Serie wieder kaufen.+ wertiges, metallisch anmutendes Gehäuse - stabile halterung - wertiges Kabel+ gute Bildqualität für berufliche Videokonferenzen - ein himmelweiter Unterschied zu manch einer in einem Laptop verbauten Kamera / den treuen WebCam-Schätzchen aus der Vor-Corona-Zeit. Bild ist durchgängig besser - auch bei schlechterer Beleuchtung. Manchmal überzeichnet die Camera die Farben etwas (aber für den Normalverbraucher absolut okay) - wer Wert auf perfekte Kino-Qualität / Farbtreue in jeder Situation legt, ist hier noch nicht am Ziel / wird vermutlich noch länger suchen. Um Welten besser als die Kameras in Thinkpads von vor 10+ Jahren - besser als die schon ziemlich guten Kameras in MacBooksPro von vor ca 3-4 Jahren.+ Die Kamera lässt sich meschanisch "verschließen", indem man an dem Kranz rund um die Linse dreht - zu ist zu und dann kommt kein Bild durch+ Die Kamera selbst speichert den in den Windows-Treibern einstellbaren digitalen Zoom und den Bildausschnitt - auch wenn man sie danach an einem beruflichen Laptop nutzt (auch bei Mac), wo die Original-Treiber nicht installiert werden können, behält sie die gewählte Einstellung bei

Really a very good camera. Quite a high price point but the quality is so noticeable when you’re on a call. Works fine with my somewhat limited work laptop. Nice broad width and sharp image quality. Easy to mount to my screen. Mic is good quality too.

I write this for others to be aware and to be able to make a decision based on facts.The MX cam I got is built with very good quality with its metal casing and really good optics. A great improvement from their previous and more plastic Brio flagship. For video conferencing I found the Brio MX to be very good regardless of light conditions. The mic was really good too and I didn’t feel the need for a separate microphone.BUT… I bought the Brio MX because I, beside video cam, wanted to use Windows Hello for login.I already had a 1080 60 fps cam bought from Amazon, but it didn’t support Biometrics.To make a long story short: This Brio MX 4K doesn’t support Windows Hello!!!What the…? Nowhere at Logitech can you see if biometric is supported or not. Not in the FAQ or anywhere else. Even cheap Chinese brands have a disclaimer that their rather cheap plastic cams don’t support Windows Hello. Maybe the absence of IR isn’t surprising for a good but cheap cam that costs USD 50-60? I can understand that. But for 250-300 USD? Surely it supports everything it can support and have better lenses, and parts - right?Since the model from a couple of years earlier (Brio 4K stream) support Windows Hello it wasn’t even in my mind the their latest and very improved cam for an additional cost of 50-100 USD more than the old Brio (also called ”Brio for business”) would have that functionality taken away. It’s just incomprehensible. And why not communicate it clearly? It doesn’t make any sense.Since I already got a MX keyboard and mouse I was very unhappy that I had to come to the conclusion to return the MX Brio cam. Especially since the keys, mouse and cam, shared the software Logi+ and made it easy to keep firmware and settings for the Logitech equipment together.If Logitech gave me the Brio MX I would happily have the Brio MX and the old Brio for business connected to my Workstation. But, economically it doesn’t make sense and I just had to return the Brio Mx.Instead I ordered and through Amazon got the previous and more plastic Brio 4K (not a premium sensation like the MX) model the next day (!). It supports what I was looking for in addition to the device to be a camera. But the software is another one. Such a shame!How did I eventually find out that it wasn’t me or my system that was the reason for ”the malfunction”?Besides trying to find settings in Windows and better drivers, I tried Logitech so called chat. It turned out to be a particularly stupid AI that even recommended installation of software that had nothing to do with the cam. Mind boggling…. Trying to get a human was hopeless. No email was to be found either. Hmmmm. Only telephone (?). Is it still the 80’s or 90’s? Calling and waiting a long time I got the possibility to leave the phone queue in order to get a call back - didn’t happen that day.I gave up and started the return procedure. Buying a new one means that I kinda loaned 200 USD to Amazon since it take weeks to get the money back. I’m still waiting for the refund. But I imagine it’s a big logistical hub that takes care of returns and that they have a lot on their plate.- How I found out that it wasn’t a driver but the cam?Finally I found and read 2 reviews (one was PC World) where even the reviewers were perplexed and couldn’t understand why the Brio MX cam seemingly had a feature withdrawn and without telling so on the box or in any of the included papers.Anyhow: In the articles I could see what wasn’t to be found at Logitech support pages however I looked and searched. I spent many hours to come to the conclusion and do I wish I could have spent them otherwise!Understand me correctly: During decades I’ve owned and still own many Logitech products and have been EXTREMELY happy with them!!! They work very well indeed. And I have bought Logitech mouses and keyboards to several businesses I worked at.But it’s been years since I had to go to Logitech support pages and find out how their end customer support is nowadays. Both pre sale and after sale did go wrong for me, and that is why I felt compelled to write this review.So, now I got a black plastic Logitech Brio cam that is rather okay. But it’s nothing like the very improved MX. That was on another level and I miss it as well as having my MX equipment in the same software. Just to give an example what I mean by different level: when I close the camera lens with the older Brio I have to put a additional plastic flip down to cover the lens. It’s like a after market solution that isn’t elegant at all. It’s like works but compared with how the lens is closed or opened with the Brio MX you turn the lens to open or closed with a twist with your hand. You can really feel the quality and engineering that has gone into this simple function.If you want a really good video camera to your computer or television: I think you will be very happy with the Brio MX. But if you want to avoid tapping a 12 letter password 20+ times per day, then I can really recommend a Windows Hello compatible camera. The Brio 4K stream/for business does the job, but not with the elegance of the Brio MX.There you have it. Hopefully this is of some use to you that have read this before you go buying. At least you now know what’s on the table and what the difference is between the two Brio 4K cams from Logitech.Thank you and take care!

Kaliteli malzemeden yapılmış, üretimi kalitesi de yüksek bir webcam. Görüntü kalitesi (özellikle de görece az aydınlık ortamlarda) çok iyi. Mikrofon kalitesi şu ana kadar kullandığım 5-6 webcam arasında en iyisi. Tek problemi bilgisayara takılı iken biraz fazla ısınıyor olması ama ısınmanın performsa bir etkisini gözlemlemedim. Şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum.

Ich habe die Logitech MX Brio aufgrund zahlreicher positiver Testberichte als Upgrade meiner alten Webcam vor allem für Video-Calls gekauft. Beim Auspacken hinterließ sie zunächst einen sehr guten Eindruck: Ein robustes Gehäuse, eine solide Befestigung und ein durchdachter Privacy-Shutter. Logitech bietet zudem eine umfangreiche Auswahl an Konfigurationstools: Logi Options+, Logi Tune und Logitech G HUB.Nach der Einrichtung war ich jedoch vom Bild der MX Brio nicht vollständig überzeugt. Natürlich übertrifft sie meine alte Webcam deutlich – auch dank der 4K-Fähigkeit – aber selbst in 1080p (der aktuellen Maximalauflösung von Microsoft Teams) wirkte mein Gesicht leicht unscharf. Nach etwas Fehlersuche stellte sich heraus, dass der Autofokus Probleme bei der Schärfe hat. Mit manueller Nachjustierung in Logi Tune konnte ich ein wesentlich schärferes Bild erzielen. Das Problem im Alltag: Entweder akzeptiert man die Unschärfe des Autofokus, oder man muss bei manuellen Einstellungen darauf achten, sich nicht zu weit vor oder zurück zu bewegen, um im Schärfebereich zu bleiben.Ein weiterer Nachteil für mich ist das starke Weitwinkelobjektiv der MX Brio mit einem Sichtfeld von 90°. Für Nutzer, die diese Weitwinkelperspektive bevorzugen, ist das sicherlich ein Pluspunkt. Für meinen Anwendungsfall (Webcam in 50 cm Entfernung zu einer einzigen Person) sind die negativen Effekte jedoch deutlich: Bei 90° entstehen Verzerrungen an den Bildrändern (Fisheye-Effekt), und das Hauptmotiv – also ich – wirkt klein. Nutzt man hingegen die engeren Sichtfeld-Einstellungen (78° oder 65°), wird der Sensor beschnitten (Cropping). Das Ergebnis ist ein weniger detailliertes Bild und eine schlechtere Low-Light-Performance, als es bei einer Nutzung des gesamten Sensors möglich wäre.Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt war das mitgelieferte Kabel: Es handelt sich um ein USB-C-auf-USB-C-Kabel, und ein Kabel oder Adapter auf USB-A fehlt. Das war für mich ein zusätzlicher Nachteil, da ich einen USB-A-Anschluss benötigte.Nach einiger Recherche entschied ich mich, auch die Insta360 Link 2C zu bestellen und auszuprobieren – und sie erwies sich als die deutlich passendere Wahl. Bei einem etwas günstigeren Preis und kleinerem Formfaktor bietet sie für meinen Bedarf ein geeigneteres natives Sichtfeld, eine höhere Bildqualität, eine überlegene Low-Light-Performance und einen deutlich besseren Autofokus. Auch ein USB-A-Adapter wurde mitgeliefert. Die MX Brio geht daher zurück.
