Der Rucksack ist sehr gut verarbeitet und macht genau das, was ich von ihm erwartet habe. Er trägt sich besser als erwartet. Ich glaube, man kann ganz schön lange das 600er herumtragen. Woran ich mich noch etwas gewöhnen muss ist, dass die Schraube der Gegenlichtblende quasi auf 45° gedreht werden muss, weil der Durchmesser sonst fast zu groß wird. So "schaut" die Schraube in eine Ecke des Rucksacks und stört nicht. Auch das Entnehmen des ganzen Equipments habe ich mir noch leichter vorgestellt. So richtig schnell geht das nicht. Das liegt aber an der enormen Größe der Linse. Eine ganz kleine Sache hat mich schon gestört: Der Reißverschluss klappert u.U. beim Laufen. Das ist beim Pirschen störend - gerade das metallische Klappern ist im Wald ein no-go. Man muss es bewusst verhindern, indem man die Reißverschlüsse fixiert oder an entsprechende Stellen schiebt. Insgesamt ist es aber ein ganz toller Rucksack für diesen speziellen Verwendungszweck, den ich jederzeit wieder kaufen würde und empfehlen kann.

I have used Lowepro products for many years. I only bought a Think Tank bag a few years ago because my High Street store had stopped selling Lowepro bags. Last year I bought a Canon EF 500mm f4L USM lens to attach to my EOS-1D X MkIII and I needed a bag to carry it in. Due to the size of the combination I was limited to the choice of two bags - this Lowepro Trekker being one of them. Neither of them were cheap so I carefully considered which one would do the job the best. I chose the Lowepro one.It is a very comfortable bag to carry on my back with a useful top strap to lift. The bag has ample padding to protect my valuable camera and lens. It can be a little fiddly to locate the lens in the recess at the bottom of the bag. Equally it is not particularly quick to lift the camera from the bag and return it. This is due to the padding which is attached to the opening flap with Velcro needing to align with the Velcro attached to the padding in the bag which supports the lens collar. However this is no more than a minor inconvenience which is offset by the fact that the camera and lens is well secured within the bag. There is space at the top within the bag for a cloth or other small pieces of equipment. The pocket in the front is big enough to carry a lens jacket but not much else. It is a good practical bag for carrying the camera and lens that I bought it for. Above all else it is very comfortable to carry and provides good protection.

Comfortable bag to carry a 600/4 lens with attached pro body but not much more... I would prefer it to be a little bigger to fit a few small lenses too.

The 600 AW series 1 was a great backpack for my Canon 600 F/4. I gave the 600 AW away with that lens when it sold and I went over to mirrorless. I had not originally planned to go big glass again but have now ordered a 400 F/2.8 so I needed the 600 AW III to accommodate it while going on day trips in the woods or to provide a soft yet sturdy pack for carrying it in the car. The Lowpro quality still does not disappoint. A bit more expensive now but worth it. If there is another lens sale next time around I will not be so quick to part with it.

Der Rucksack lässt qualitativ keine Wünsche offen, er ist typisch für Lowepro einwandfrei verarbeitet.Unter ergonomischen Aspekten betrachtet sehr bequem zu tragen,alle Gurte können individuell angepasst werden.Eben ein richtig guter Rucksack.Ein 500mm/F4 passt selbst mit der aufgesetzten Sonnenblende und adaptierter Kamera hinein.Allerdings ist der Rucksack nichts für mich.Was mich dazu bewegt hat ihn zurück zu senden.Ich besitze ein Gitzo 5543mit einem Benro GH2.Das anbringen eines Stativ dieser Größe ist jedoch wenig praktikabel. Es wackelt mir zu sehr auf Schritt und Tritt.Ein Einbein jedoch ist hervorragend mitzunehmen.Der Rucksack ist zudem nicht gerade klein, klar er muss ein großes Objektiv aufnehmen einen filigranen grazil anmutenden Rucksack zu erwarten wäre sicherlich falsch.Trotz der stolzen Größe der Tasche ist die Mitnahme eines 24-105mm kaum möglich. Telekoverter, zweiter Akku, Handy .... Kleinkram eben finden seinen Platz.Fazit, ein echt guter Rucksack zum Transport der geliebten Ausrüstung.Aber leider nicht die Lösung für mich.

以前はジュラルミンケースに入れ現場へ行き、ちょっとの移動はカメラをつけたまま車の後部座席にっという具合に６４を使っておりましがた、一度一時停止無視の飛び出しに会い後部座席に載せて居たレンズがゴロンと後部の足元へ、、、大事には至らずにすみましたが。。移動の時にいちいちまカメラを外し、レンズをジュラルミンケースにというのも面倒になり、こちらをセールの時に購入。ニコン製６４もバックに入れる時にフードが少しきつくなりますが問題なく使用しております。テレコン１、４とカメラをつけたまま仕舞えるのでとても楽です。ちょっとした山登りも一脚をつけたまま担いておりましたがこれを使えば両手がフリーになるので安心です。背負った感じもマァマァです。バックの外に色々取りけることが出来そうです。しかし、バック内には立体物を入れるポケットなど無いに等しく、物足りなさを感じるかもしれません。私は重宝しております。

Ich verwende den Lens Trecker für ein Canon EF 200-400. Optik mit aufgesetztem Streulichtfilter und Kamera inklusive Batteriegriff füllt den Innenraum ziemlich vollständig aus, mit umgedrehtem Streulichtfilter kann man die mitgelieferte Lasche einsetzen und erhält zusätzlichen Stauraum. Der Boden ist unten und an den Seiten extrem gut gepolstert (ca. 1 cm Schaumstoff), oben ist die Optik mit den beiden dicken, auf den Abbildungen sichtbaren Schaumstoffplatten gut fixiert, die zwar etwas fummelig zu bedienen sind, aber sie erfüllen ihren Zweck, und ich wüsste auch keine bessere Lösung, um den Rucksack für mehrere Objektive nutzbar zu machen.Die Schulterkonstruktion ist für guten Tragekomfort höhenverstellbar, der Hüftgurt stützt den Rucksack zusätzlich. Im vorderen Fach ist zusätzlich Platz, beispielsweise für Einsteckfilter, und an jeder Seite kann ein Stativ mit drei mitgelieferten Gurten fixiert werden. Für größere Stative taugt diese Konstruktion absolut nicht, ich nutze ein Sirui Einbein mit Standspinne und Gimbal, das geht gerade noch, obwohl der gesamte Gimbal über den Rucksack hinausragt, wenn man den Rucksack auf den Boden stellt. Für längere Wanderungen ist das bestimmt keine taugliche Lösung.Was den eigentlichen Zweck des Lens Treckers - den sicheren Transport kostspieliger Optiken mit bestmöglichem Tragekomfort - betrifft, kann ich nur eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen. Auch die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, wie man es von Lowepro gewöhnt ist. Viel Alternativen für große Linsen gibt es ohnedies nicht.Gruß

I have used the 600AW mk III for over a year now. Addressing some of the comments made by other reviewers.1. This is a special purpose bag designed solely to hold a 500/600mm lens with a body ATTACHED. This is made quite clear in lowepro's description. It is not a small version of the 650AW, the latter being a general purpose customisble bag (which, to my knowledge, cannot carry a 600mm with a body attached). Please do your research and do not complain about the lack of internal dividers.2. The mk III torso fitting system is called ActivLift. Pack Jack was in the previous mk II. Since the shoulder straps are part of the ActiveLift plate, it's not possible to wear the bag without this present. If it's not present, it's a packing fault at the factory, not a defect in the bag.3. The lens collar IS included - it's a structural component of the bag and necessary. If it's not present, it's a packing fault not a defect in the bag.4. My bag with lens, body, teleconvertors, large tripod, gimbal head, weighs 12.5kg of which 12kg is kit. The bag's weight is negligible when carrying large kit and not a defect of the bag.5. The lens capture bracket/collar fits snugly around the neck of a lens, is height-adjustable to handle 500/600/800mm, and is placed so that the lens is centred in the bag. It is asymmetrical and not necessary for the front half to be shaped/contoured.6. There are vertical sliplocks running top-to-bottom of both sides of the bag, stitched into 4 (elastic pocket side) and 6 (other side) spaces. There is one horizontal sliplock running front-to-back on each side of the bag, at the height of the top of the zip pocket, stitched into 3 spaces.7. The lens foot fit is tight if you use the larger foot type, but will fit comfortably. I find it useful to brace this against the opening side as an extra support for the lens.8. The zip pocket is sufficient to carry: A tripod tool bag and three 3-inch diameter hemispherical rubber feet. A bicycle multitool with various hex keys. The lens/body/teleconvertor end caps. The soft teleconvertor storage bag (teleconvertor is on the lens). Spare batteries. A travel pack of tissues. I also carry a second teleconvertor in the main compartment next to the lens, but this must be removed when extracting the lens.My thoughts on the bag...A. I would like to see more padding underneath the bag. There appears to be around 1 inch of foam. Since the large lenses tend not to have hard plastic lens caps, and their front elements are vulnerable, more protection here would seem sensible. However, I accept it may compromise the stability of the bag, and the user can always fit more foam, or a hard plate, inside if required.B. It is only possible to attach the tripod foot carrier level with the base of the bag on the non-elastic-pocket side. If you have a very large tripod, or a large gimbal attached, the tripod head will protrude above the top of the bag if attached on the other side. I don't personally find the elastic pocket useful, but others might. I also don't have a problem with the tripod being on one side, but others might. Sometimes I want a second tripod with a scope, but I just carry too much kit ;)Overall I find the bag excellently designed for its very specific purpose. I have not tried Tamrac or Manfrotto bags designed for the same purpose. They may well be better, but the Lowepro does its job.

Dieser Rucksack ist ein Spezialrucksack für lange Teleobjektive, die zusammen mit einem aufgesetzten Gehäuse über längere Strecken zu Fuß transportiert werden sollen. Wahlweise mit aufgesetzter Sonnenblende bzw. wenn es sich um ein sehr großes Objektiv wie z.B. das Sigma 300-800 mm /f5.6 handelt, mit umgedrehter Sonnenblende.Das Sigma 300-800 mm misst ca. 550 mm mit umgedrehte Sonnenblende und passt mit aufgesetztem Nikon-Vollformatgehäuse gerade noch in den Rucksack, wobei die Schutzpolster am Boden und am Deckel verwendet werden. Mit den seitlichen Schutzpolstern am Boden und dem variablen Schutzpolster für den oberen Tubus des Objektivs sitzt es damit auch fest genug im Rucksack. Im dem vorderen Zubehörfach kann noch Kleinigkeiten unterbringen.Für gängige Zoomobjektive wie die verschiedenen 150-600 mm von Sigma ist der auch mit aufgesetzter Sonnenblende überdimensioniert. Das Canon 800 mm und das Nikon 800 mm sind jeweils 460 mm lang, da ist also noch Luft. Das Sigma 800 mm 520 mm lang.Egal wie lang oder kurz das eingesetzte Objektiv ist: Dieser Rucksack ist hauptsächlich ein Rrucksack für ein großes Teleobjektiv mit einem aufgesetzen Gehäuse. Es gibt außer den beschriebenen Stützen keine Zwischenböden oder ähnliches, mit den man die Ausrüstungsteile von einander trennen könnte.Den Punktabzug gibt es dafür, dass man ein entsprechend großes Stativ wie ein Gitzo 5543 LS mit Gimbal nicht vernünftig am Rucksack befestigen, wobei man genau so ein Stativ mit dem einem großen Teleobjektiv im Bereich von 600 bis 800 mm verwendet. Bequemer und robuster als die mitgelieferte Tasche des Sigma 300-800 mm ist dieser Rucksack allemal. Er läßt sich wie ein gewöhnlicher Wanderrucksack über längere Strecken tragen.
