This set is very easy to use and comes with nearly everything you need to silk screen your first project. It’s been 20 years since I silk screened anything and I was excited to use this with my 8 year old, so he could try the process and start thinking about making his own designs. For his shirt, he came up with an idea and we used adhesive vinyl & a cutter to make the design. It adhered to the screen very well and after masking, we got a very clear image. The screen is wood framed and a very good quality. It was easy to use, and easy to clean. The included ink and scraper worked perfectly. After making one t shirt, I can appreciate that this kit provides enough ink for many projects. The shirt my son made has gone through the laundry once now, and there was no bleeding and minimal if any fading.I think this is an awesome kit for kids and grown ups with plenty of supplies to make quite a few things. Also the packaging is incredibly cute so it would make a great gift as well.

The Luckies of London Screen Printing Kit is an absolute blast, a fantastic way to dive into the world of screen printing, even if you've never touched a squeegee before. This kit comes with everything you need to get started: a screen, ink, squeegee, reusable stencils, and a step-by-step guide. Although I didn;t need the guide, it is incredibly helpful for a beginner to read, breaking down the process into simple steps, making it easy to follow along and jump right in.One of the best things about this kit is it contains reusable stencils. They're very easy to use and allow you to create a variety of designs. These stencils are really good to get you going, and you can immediately begin to print designs on t-shirts, tote bags, and even a pillowcase. The water-based ink is easy to clean up and doesn't have a strong chemical smell. This is a fab kit that’ll help you to relax and unwind. It's really satisfying to see your designs come to life, and it's a great way to express creativity. Not just alone either, it's a fun activity to do with friends and family too - you’ll see!I love this Luckies of London Screen Printing Kit - I really do. It's a well designed, easy to use kit that's perfect for both beginners or experienced printers. I highly recommend giving it a try today, right now - go on, just do it! :)Here's a step-by-step breakdown of using the Luckies of London Screen Printing Kit:-• Unbox and Prepare:Start by taking everything out of the box. You'll have a screen, squeegee, ink, reusable stencils, blank fabrics, and a guide.Lay out your workspace, making sure it's protected from spills. Ventilation will not be a issue with this water based kit.• Create a Design:Decide what you want to print. You can use one of the provided stencils or create your own. If you're making your own, you'll need to cut it out yourself using some of the vinyl sheet provided, although I use a cutting machine for some designs.• Prepare the Screen:Place your chosen stencil on the inside of the screen. Make sure it's securely in place, but don't worry about perfect alignment just yet.• Apply the Ink:Pour a small amount of ink onto the screen. You don't need a lot, just enough to cover the design.• Spread the Ink:Use the squeegee to spread the ink across the screen. Start at the top and pull the squeegee down, applying firm, even pressure. This will force the ink through the mesh onto the stencil.• Print Your Design:Place your fabric on a flat surface. Position the screen on top of the fabric, ensuring the design is aligned correctly.Pull the squeegee across the screen again, this time applying pressure to the back of the screen. This will transfer the ink onto the fabric.• Remove the Screen:Slowly, and carefully lift the screen off the fabric, revealing your printed design.Give yourself a pat on the back!• Clean Up:Rinse the screen with water to remove any excess ink.Clean the squeegee and any other tools you've used.Let your printed fabric dry completely before wearing or using it.• Lastly:-Don't worry if your first few prints aren't perfect. Practice makes perfect! I’ve made 1000’s of prints over the years and still I make mistakes.Experiment with different techniques and designs.Have fun and enjoy the creative process!
