Fitted my 435i 2016 Msport without an issue the only thing is the carbon fiber is not at all how it looks in the picture it's definitely cheaper looking in real life looks like vinyl. However, the alcantara part of the shift knob and the boot was great. It comes directly from a dealer with the receipt so you know it's a quality that you paid for.

Great quality but I switched back to oringinal M shifter just for my personal preference of the leather feel.

This is just awesome. I got mine from the seller BMW of Minnetonka in amazon. I'm very happy with the product and happy to find quality product. I was bit skeptical as to how much upgrade this would be from the stock gear knob initially. After checking in the bimmerpost, it seemed that some people liked it while some didn't think it was good upgrade. I decided to take chance since I personally thought the stock gear knob was crap. After using this for over 6 months or so, this is just awesome. This improves the feel of the gear shift by great amount. I wish BMW would just setup this as the default knob since the stock is total crap in my opinion. The knob feels much more weighted and short which it seems help improve the gear shift feeling. Aesthetically, it looks way more fun than the stock. If you can afford it then just go for it. This is one of the must have upgrade from the stock option.

This is shorter and heavier than the standard shift knob, which I always see as a plus in a shift knob. Installation went off without a hitch -- probably 5 minutes including the walk down to the car. I would prefer the stitching was red or black thread. I am afraid the white will really show dirt over time.
