Nice hat, but would be more utilitarian if it actually covered ears. I wear a size 6 7/8, so that tells you how small this is.

It fits well. the color matches the red on my Madshuse skis, I do not overheat while wearing it, This bad winter for skiing has prevented me from using it as I would like.

Initially gave this product a 3 star because it felt tight at first. However with use it has stretched out to the shape of my head and feels much more comfortable. This is one of the few beanies I've owned that actually covers my ears. I do have a small head though, so I don't know it this would hold true for someone with an average to large sized head. When I first received this product I was disappointed at how thin the material appeared. However, that turns out to be it's greatest attribute. This is my go-to winter hat because I can stuff it into any pocket when I'm going out. And don't let the material fool you. It's actually very warm for casual wear. I've worn it cross country skiing a couple times now and can attest that it does a great job of wicking moisture too.I'd recommend to any female looking for a great XC ski hat that you can also wear casually.
