Works well on my axolotl tank. Easy to cut for pumps or other tubing. I needed something I could simply lift up at the front edge for feeding. One adhesive pad has lost its stickiness though and this cover pulls up entirely on the right side but is not difficult to lay flat again after each use.

Perfect for a 35 gallon hexagon tank it’s a good alternative if you don’t have a cover , at least your fish won’t be jumping out. That was my biggest concern about having an open tank top when I received a 35 gallon hexagon tank from a friend, but it did not have a lid. I watched the video on how to install it and it was pretty easy. It is a do it yourself project, but I still say it is well worth it.

Just spend the extra $10 to get an actual lid. This thing sucks and I’m the goof for trying to give it a chance that now I can’t return it.

Such a smart idea, great price, and perfect for any one who has an old discontinued tank or is having trouble finding a cover. Using this for my clownfish, all the other tank covers were too expensive so I obviously was very excited when I saw this one. Definitely worth it, 10 out of 10 will buy again. If I can edit this review I might share a photo later. God bless.

Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich von der magnetischen Fisch-Aquarium-Abdeckung enttäuscht bin. Die Idee hinter dem Produkt ist großartig, aber die Ausführung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Magnetstreifen sind extrem schwach und das Netz sowie die PVC-Streifen lösen sich ständig ab. Alle Strips sind aus einem Material gefertigt, das richtig unflexibel ist. Dies führt dazu, dass das Netz und andere Bauteile ständig ins Wasser fallen. Um das Produkt überhaupt nutzen zu können, bräuchte es deutlich stärkere Magnetstreifen. Leider ist dies ein absoluter Fehlkauf und ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen.

I needed a hexagon shaped lid and they are impossible to find. So I thought I would try this. When it came I had my doubts. My husband thought it was stupid and said his idea of building a lid was better. But, wives, (and let’s be honest, husbands) know that will never happen! I’ve had the tank since February. 🙄 so he went to bed and I put this together in less than 15 minutes. I ran the first magnetic strip around the entire tank. I had to go around the outside edge instead of the top edge as the directions say to do, but it worked fine. When it came to the pieces that hold the net on, I had to cut each of those for each section. They would not stick when trying to just wrap them around all six edges, but also maybe the directions say to do that anyway… the YouTube QR code would not work.
