Useful for more than just hats. I wear a lot of hats and visors in the summer and have tried clip style hat holders with my purses, but some of my hats are so thick, I can’t get the clip on. Saw this and thought it was worth a try. First time I used it, I didn’t use it for a hat but rather, a jacket. It has a very strong magnet and the jacket was secured without worry of falling off or slipping. Also can be used as a purse holder for restrooms with metal walls/doors but without hooks. Multi-purpose item!

Love wearing hats.....and, when the sun is shining, I SHOULD always wear a hat because my skin is SO fair, and I have had SO many pre-cancerous spots burned off and had a MOHS surgery this year for a basal cell carcinoma, so I am trying to be extra careful. I LOVE that I have this beautiful little holder that insures I can always carry a hat along with me! It is SO nicely made......the black leather is beautiful.....it is well-stitched, and the magnet is strong enough to hold any thickness of hat brim. It can easily be attached to a purse, a backpack, a beach bag, or suitcase. I will be traveling this summer and can't wait to use it on all my bags for all my trips!!

This would make a fun little gift for someone about to go on a sunny vacation! I've vacationed in Mexico and Hawaii many times and require a sun hat. I have figured out how to fit these hats into my suitcase, but when you're out and about for the day (especially on foot), what do you do with your hat when you go inside for a some food or shopping? You just end up holding it or stuffing it into your already overly stuffed day bag. No more!The presentation was almost like a piece of jewelry in a box and it came with a lovely gold circle carabiner as well. It seems very well made and the magnets are exceptionally strong! I tested this on one of my straw sun hat and it works great. It even worked on the bill portion of a baseball cap. I'm excited to use this around town this summer.
