One of those things that you hope is only used to dig the car out at a trail head.Lightweight and fits in a backpack easily. Have practiced av rescue with it and deploys quickly but thankfully has only been used in vehicle recovery.

It does the job very well. Not so heavy, easy to transport, perfect for preparing the place for the bivuac in the snow/glacier.
