Arrived quickly, and as always for Manfrotto products very well made. Used it to replace another boom arm holder. Much better than what I had.

Dopo 35 anni di massacrante lavoro del pezzo originale ho sentito di sostituirlo con questo stesso elemento nuovo più per ragioni estetiche che funzionali. Indistruttibile, quasi eterno, con una frizione di una precisione e robustezza leggendarie. Sopporta carichi notevoli. Un complemento "pro" nella migliore tradizione Manfrotto, una garanzia.

This pivot clamp is is not only quality but an excellent design, operates very smoothly. I was really looking forward to using it however I should have read the description better. Amazon almost always has suggestions for a product. In this particular case the suggestion was either the 42" or 59" Manfrotto Mini Boom which I have. So I get this thing an I instantly knew I just made a mistake. Obviously I may have developed an inability to differentiate between words such as 'SUPER' and 'MINI'. The opening for the boom is massive, in fact it''s so large it was to big for my Kupo Baby Boom which is actually a very large boom and I bought it for the decent price and the sliding pivot point. I don't know exactly how big a Manfrotto Super Boom is but after seeing the Super Boom Pivot Clamp I know I don't have any need for it. If Manfrotto had one of these clamps in a smaller form I would buy it in a heart beat. But my only option here is to return it. I had to give 5 stars because it is made exceptionally well.
