I've been interested in these type of sliding-card wallets from all the ridge wallet adverts I get bombarded with... But I never got a ridge one, because they seem very impractical for anything but cards. This wallet solves that issue for me... mostly. I can fit a good amount of money in the side pocket, I like that it has a few traditional slots for things like IDs, and the sliding mechanism is quite space-efficient for all other cards. However, there is unfortunate complication with this mechanism... If it breaks, your cards are kind of stuck in there. If they don't fit in there very snuggly, they might fall out if you shake it vigorously. The official solution is to use the tiny screwdriver (included in the package) and poke the cards through the "reset" hole on the bottom, which would push them out. However, it's not convenient to carry that screwdriver with you. I had hoped a SIM eject tool would fit, but mine is too wide, you need something with outer diameter of no more than 1.7mm. They should have made this big enough to fit a SIM tray eject tool, as those are fairly common and fairly easy to find when you are out and about (every smartphone store has them), not to mention you could keep one of those in the coin pocket.Unfortunately, the coin pocket folds out only on one of its sides, as you can see in one of the photos I've included. My strategy is to open the coins compartment and shake it into my palm.Overall, the material feels good, I like that there is a slot for an airtag (I constantly misplace my bag at home), and it fits quite a bit of stuff... except coins, you'll have a hard time digging in there, especially if you have big fingers like me. But considering the roughly 30 euros price range, this is a pretty good wallet.

Dieses moderne Portemonnaie punktet durch seine durchdachte Ausstattung: Ein integrierter Mechanismus ermöglicht das schnelle Ausfahren der Karten in gestaffelter Anordnung, was den Zugriff deutlich erleichtert. Das robuste, kunstlederähnliche Material ist widerstandsfähig gegen Kratzer und wirkt insgesamt hochwertig. Neben einem separaten Münzfach mit Reißverschluss bietet das Etui auch Platz für einen Ortungschip – praktisch, falls man es mal verlegt. Auch die Verpackung macht einen soliden, wertigen Eindruck und eignet sich gut als Geschenk.Einziger Nachteil: Sobald das Portemonnaie mit mehreren Karten bestückt ist, baut es spürbar auf. Mit etwa 3 cm Dicke passt es dann nicht mehr so unauffällig in jede Hosentasche und trägt auf – insbesondere bei enger Kleidung kann das störend sein.Fazit: Ein gut verarbeitetes Wallet mit sinnvollen Funktionen, das vor allem durch seine Organisation und Schutzmechanismen überzeugt. Wer jedoch ein besonders schlankes Format sucht, sollte diesen Punkt bedenken.

This wallet is effectively two items in one - a simple leather wallet and an NFC blocking metallic card container.It's really compact but folds out quite well - plenty of room for all those bank notes I don't have! The coin pouch on the back has been well thought out too - it concertinas out slightly to make it easier to fish for that pound coin for your shopping trolley.The card holder works great, it holds a few cards, pull down the switch on the side and they spring up in a neat stacked formation.Just to note you don't get an air tag with this item - you need to provide your own. I've used a third party one that has worked well.At £29.99 it's a fair price. It's not the type of item I would have jumped at myself but I would have been happy to have received it as a gift.
