You'd think it was just a line, but anybody who has ran string lines knows they're not all created equal. This stuff is excellent - super bright, easy to work with, and just the right amount of stretchy to get it straight.ALso, whatever the material and coating is, makes untying even tight knots quite easy. I've gone to cut the string a few times and realised I can untie and reuse which is a win

I wanted a string that was the same as nylon picture string that I used to be able to purchase before I retired from my picture framing business. This is equivalent to the lowest gauge of "picture string". Its also good for many other jobs, other than hanging picture frames, that require a strong and rot free string. I have used it on various garden and building projects, my wife has even used it for tying the covers on christmas puddings.
