Macht einen robusten Eindruck und tut, was es soll.Außerdem hat das Schloss nicht diese einfachen Schlüssel, die leicht zu knacken sind, sondern etwas sicherere.

Ich nutze dieses Schloss in der Größe 8,1 x 5 x 1,7 cm als zusätzliche Sicherheit für mein Garagentor. Es macht einen sehr robusten und stabilen Eindruck. Den Zweck, dass es nicht so leicht zu "knacken" geht, erfüllt es offensichtlich. Der starke Bügel und das massive Messing können da schon einiges an Widerstand entgegensetzen. Gut finde ich auch, dass hier 4 Schlüssel dabei sind. Ein sehr leichtes Schließen und Öffnen ist auf jeden Fall gegeben. Das Schloss erfüllt voll und ganz meine Erwartungen und das zu einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

This is a good, solid feeling lock. Key features for me were:- supplied with 4 keys- keys are reversible (no more fiddling around in dark/cold trying to get the key and lock the right way up!)- lifetime warrantyThe lock opens and closes easily.The shackle is 9mm. The gap between shackle and lock body is 36mm. The lock body is 60cm wide.I use mine to keep my double garage doors secure. It's a good chunky feeling lock.This padlock has a lifetime warranty. I've not been able to find anything online about how good/bad this warranty is, however Master Lock have been going since 1921, so they are certainly not a fly by night operation. The key thing is to try and make sure you keep a note that it has a lifetime warranty so that you remember to claim on it if the lock does ever fail!For maintenance, masterlock recommend cleaning the lock using normal WD40, then applying a greaseless “dry” lubricant (LPSTM1, Tri FlowTM, Krytox RFE Advanced PTFE dry lubricant, or Elmer’s Slide-All) to the keyway and shackle. These brands don't seem easy to find in the UK, but is an equivalent. They recommend never using normal oil as it can attract/trap dust in the mechanism.I've attached a photo of the information on the back of the packaging.
