Die MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection bringt schöne Erinnerungen an die 80er Jahre zurück. Jede Figur ist eine moderne Version des Bildschirmlooks der 1980er Jahre mit einem ganz neuen Zubehör, das mit einer bestimmten Episode verbunden ist.
MOTU Origins Spielzeuge sind von den Original-Cartoons aus den 80er Jahren inspiriert, aber mit modernen Möglichkeiten ausgestattet. Mit einer Größe von 14 cm und 16 beweglichen Gelenken sind diese nostalgischen Actionfiguren bereit zum Spielen oder Ausstellen.
Die Masterverse-Figuren bieten eternianische Helden und Bösewichte mit dem hohen Detailgrad, den Sammler erwarten, im Maßstab von 18 cm mit 30 Gelenkpunkten und austauschbaren Teilen und Zubehör.

I am flummoxed that this stupendous toy was offered at such a cheap price on Amazon, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth! I didn't even deem the original MOTU 'Rattlor' toy to be interesting enough to acquire for my collection; this modern toy is a superb example of artists taking a second crack at the basic idea of 'Rattlor' and creating a much, much more gorgeous and interesting toy out of it. The idea of a second mutated snake both merging with the previous Rattlor and also wearing it as a skin, is made very visually convincing and compelling in this toy; such a wild and wonderful concept. All the translucent neon pink flourishes are so life-affirming and energizing, and they take light beautifully. They are sculpted with just the right detailing. I love the delicate, reptilian legs of this toy and it is a feat of design, the way a toy that seems so top-heavy and prone to leaning is actually very stable and easy to stand upright, even with the top leaning way out in one direction or another. The blue translucent arms and legs were a lovely surprise in that they too catch some light and don't have too heavy a colour effect. The detailing on the belt, the back armour and the front of the chest are top notch. This toy feels wonderful to hold and its details are lovely to explore with the fingers. The lack of accessories doesn't bother me at all, and if that helped allow the price to be so low for this figure, hallelujah! Though there are no accessories, there are extra neck additions that allow to you have a toy that can extend to three different sizes, with each size giving the creature quite a different feel. Unlike a lot of modern toys, I actually found it easy to put the head and neck parts on and take them off and connect them to each other, without worrying that I was going to break the toy in the process. The package for this toy is splendid, worth keeping and hanging as art on the wall, which I intend to do. As always with modern toys of this nature, it was unduly difficult to cut and pop out of its packaging. Oh well. I managed to do it without damaging the toy.

mio nipote lo ha apprezzato moltissimo soprattutto per la possibilità di trasformazione con allungamento del collo ecc da mostro mutevole e feroce !

Masters of the Universe Origins Turtles of Grayskull Rattlor is one of the wildest mutated figures in the TOG line! Most of his body is reuse from the first Origins Rattlor - torso, arms, crotch, rubbery hollow tail, and legs - while his hands and feet are from TOG Moss Man; but it's his new overlay parts and especially his new head... well, heads really, that make this set so fun. The designer who came up with the idea of a mutated Rattlor molting his skin and then bursting his new head out of his old head's mouth deserves a raise, it's such a fun idea! The sculpted details really suggest he's a snake/humanoid hybrid.TOG Rattlor has standard Origins articulation plus a hinged jaw, and yes he still rattles when you shake him. However, the TOG Moss Man feet aren't designed with a rocker ankle but a straight vertical pin, so that functionality has to cheat by using the boot and ankle articulation to work in concert, it's not that great to pose but it does make the figure more stable. The head ball socket arrived loose enough that it fell off, but leaving it off the joint overnight it shrunk a tiny bit and is stable enough to hold the figure up.Rattlor comes with no weapons, but he has 2 identical neck extensions to really get him jumping out of his skin thanks to a dumbbell joint at the top and a ball socket at the bottom of each, so you can pop the head off and attach those extra necks to really wriggle out of this body. He's also got a removable old-school Rattlor molted head as a hood, and 3 new armor pieces which also suggest bones of a snake and a man. The gauntlet armor pops off rather easily but there is a sweet spot where it holds alright.The coloring mixes classic Rattlor with a mutated translucent hot pink and dark blue sections for a very wild look that somehow works where it has no right to. The paint on the limbs changes things up a little by having a ragged red, suggesting some leftover shed skin still adhering.I'm not even a fan of the Snake Men concept in MOTU, but this figure is super fun regardless, and hits all the notes of the original being brought into Turtles of Grayskull's Reptile Wars premise. Highly recommend!
