I am very pleased with this set of training underwear for my 3 year old. He has recently outgrown his 3t sized underwear, and in the last week needed to borrow underwear from his 5 year old older brother.We needed to get him a pack of larger sized training underwear, but I was on a budget. Many of the plush training underwear brands can get quite spending at over $25, up to $40 for a package ranging from 6-10 pairs. I wanted to spend close to $15 for now, and this Thomas the Train themed option came in clutch!First off, my boys are HUGE fans of Thomas. I've found that having fun character designs on their training underwear makes them look forward to wearing their briefs more...even better when they can be included in the selection of their underwear, I prefer the training underwear style to regular underwear because it is plush with absorbent padding in the mid portion of the briefs where the urine is likely to settle if there is an accident. If there is a little dribble on the way to the potty, it lessens the chance that their clothing gets saturated and they'll have to change their outfit as well as their undies.I also appreciate the variety of this pack. While we are still relying on training underwear primarily, my son does use a mix of regular underwear too. I will purchase a larger package of training underwear, like a 10 pack, eventually, but right now, these additional training undies in a larger size are perfect! The package came with 3 of the padded training briefs, and 4 regular briefs. I purchased the size hes currently in, 4T, and they fit perfect! They are comfortable around the thighs and waist, and are made from a breathable, cotton fabric that washes well. The designs are bright and so cute!Another thing that is neat about the Mattel brand underwear packages is the handy " Potty Training Chart" on the back of the inner label. It comes with included star stickers, and can be used as a way to keep track of kids' successful potty going trips. It is thin but made of a cardboard like, sturdy paper, and could easily be thumb-tacked to the wall in the bathroom.I have purchased underwear from this brand for my middle son (who is 5), in different character....Some has been the padded briefs, and others are regular. My experience with these brands as a mother of 4 is positive and I will likely continue to purchase them given their great value and fun characters! I only wish that they went up a bit in sizing for the padded briefs.....My son is in a 4t now and can fit them fine with a little room to grow, but he is a little "thicker" that some kids, and looking ahead, it would nice to know they went up one more seize in case we needed that. Sizing starts at 2t and goes up to 2t.If youre currently potty training, or have a child who has got it down even, this is a great variety pack at an affordable price. The quality of the fabric and fit of the briefs is top notch!

We have these in a 3T, ordered a 4T with the advertised designs, but got these designs instead which we already have. Obviously still usable, but very annoying that they don’t send the advertised looks.

These are better than I expected! Really well made, soft and my son says comfortable! The fabric patterns are great too!
