I ordered the maxxipaws maxxicardio Heart & Cardiovascular Powder Supplement for Cats for our 16 year old rescue cat who has FIV and a slight heart murmur.The product arrived neatly packaged and in very good condition.Our rescue cat is generally in good health but experienced some recent issues with breathing heavily and losing his voice/ intermittent throat problems.We consulted with a vet first before considering the use of this product which is advisable.The active ingredients include; taurine, hawthorn, magnesium, potassium and ginkgo biloba.The product aims to support heart and cardiovascular health by aiding circulation, improving stamina and concentration over time.What particularly drew me to the product was the claim that it supports cats with irregular heartbeats.The recommendation is to add 1 scoop to the cat food daily for a 5kg weight cat.Our cat is 6.5kg and as he's on the larger side, we tend to add just over a scoop to his wet food.I was a bit worried that he wouldn't eat his food after this was added, as he can somehow sense when something has been included that he's not expecting.He seems to really enjoy the flavour and isn't picking at his food which is great.I expect it will be a long time to see if there's a noticeable improvement, if at all, but it gives us the peace of mind and reassurance that we're doing as much as we can to ensure he's healthy in his twilight years.Overall, a great natural product that seems to be at a reasonable price for the quality.

I got the Maxxipaws Maxxicardio Heart & Cardiovascular Powder Supplement for my two cats, and it’s been easy to add to their food. They seem to enjoy the taste, and I feel good knowing it supports their heart health. A great supplement for peace of mind!

This product comes in a brownish powder form, along with a small scoop. One scoop per day will cover a 12lb cat. My cat is a very picky eater, but she doesn't seem to have any problems with the taste of this powder being mixed in her wet food.I did some research on each and every ingredient in this powder supplement. From what I read, every ingredient contributes, in its own way, to providing healthy support for cats' cardiovascular (heart) health, and circulatory health.As examples, L-Carnitine is an essential vitamin-like molecule that your cat needs to regulate the heart and skeletal muscles, as well as release energy and break down fats in the body. Taurine is an amino acid found in meat, fish, and poultry proteins, and is something all cats need to survive. Taurine is especially crucial for senior cats. In fact, taurine deficiency has been linked to retinal degeneration and dilated cardiomyopathy. Hawthorne Berry powder is an antioxidant bioflavonoid which is known for improving blood circulation to the heart. In cats especially, it has been used to manage certain heart diseases such as heart failure.Anyway, those are just some examples of what the ingredients in this supplement can do to support your cats heart and circulatory health. For anyone with a beloved kitty, I would highly recommend this supplement.

My cat has not been rejecting this in his food at all and it's been a couple weeks. My old man has been getting really picky with food and sometimes will only eat broths and tubes, which often have no taurine in them at all, which is really important for cats, so I'm glad I have a easy way I can add some in when I worry it's too many meals in a row with no taurine. This is a nice blend for elderly cats and I hope it can help keep him trim and energetic. I have not been keeping this in the fridge but it's winter, I would maybe fridge it in warmer months.
