Have always purchased the lock nut version of these. Recently got an older bmw so purchased a set of these lock studs. These are great. As always great materials that dont seem to rust despite the adverse canadian weather and salt usage. These have always tended to outlast any of the other aftermarket nuts/studs that I've seen. Mcgard also makes it quite easy to order replacement keys and studs/nuts if you keep the registration and serial code handy. Overall a great experience and awesome product if you need it. Never worried about losing the key or and of the studs.

Ok, so this is my first time buying these. Before I could even put them on, I had one (1) of another set without the key on a car I just bought used. I tried to follow the Youtube videos of removing it without going to the dealer and thought initially that, wow these must be junk if they can be so easily removed. Initial attempt failed. Wow, ok mildly impressed. Tried buying a socket tool made specifically for removing wheel locks and busted regular nuts. That too failed, more impressed.Get to the dealer and they find a key for me. But in searching the many keys for these types of locks, the guy helping me told me about horror stories about removing these types of locks and that I should just get a regular OEM style lock set. After purchasing the appropriate key and getting home and successfully removing the one lock, I was able to install this set only to realize these are different than the one I had on the one wheel originally. I think I like the old one better because it had a sleeve on it to help prevent sliding a regular socket over the lock and forcing it off with pure friction. These don't have that. So only time will tell if they serve their purpose as a deterrent for theft and if they present any trouble to me as I'd had different brand different style wheel locks in the past that were a nightmare on a different car many years ago. But overall they look promising and look to be made of higher quality metal than the set I used many years ago.

A la primera puesta y con una simple cruz para birlos -no con máquina-, la llave (dado) comenzó a perder la forma, los birlos perdieron la rosca, por poco y no los puedo sacar!!!! es de muy mala calidad el producto... sí con terminados hermosos pero con una durabilidad inferior!!! No se los recomiendo para nada del mundo!!! Lo bueno es que el servicio de Amazon me reembolso el total y pude comprar unos gorilla!!! Saludos!!
