Sadly the pictures show predrilled holes which made this product useless for one application. Imagine my delight when it arrived WITHOUT predrilled holes! I guess that could be a minus, but not for any application I have had. need to hit joists not just subfloor!

It's not for use on uneven surfaces, but it is nice and flat for level surface transitions, like from wood to vinyl. The wood is very nice - no chips, splinters or rough patches and did not require additional sanding. Takes paint or stain well.

Just as you would expect. Stained it and it looks great. No bends, flaws or other impections.
