Schöne Oberfläche, leicht rauh. Trocknet schnell ab und wellt leicht, wenn man zu feucht arbeitet.

Es macht richtig Spaß, damit zu arbeiten. Hab auf der Suche nach einer günstigeren Alternative zur Top-Marke einige 100 % Baumwollpapiere ausprobiert; das hier ist das erste, das nicht enttäuscht. Natürlich auch nicht billig, aber beide Papiere sind es wert. Bin begeistert und freue mich schon auf die nächsten Projekte. Danke! :-)Zusatz: Finde es ziemlich schwierig, das Blatt von der Leimung zu lösen. Habe jetzt meine Methode mit Skalpell und Föhn zum Erwärmen, aber noch kein Blatt ganz ohne auch den kleinsten Kratzer abgekriegt.

What is the proper name of this paper? It does not say "Meeden" on the product. It says "Baohong".Like so many Chinese enterprises they need help with their English. It says its a "pad". It's not; it's a "block" which means it's glued on all four sides. For the uninitiated, that's not a bug; it's a feature for which you pay extra, usually. It's convenient because you can paint without removing and taping the paper. As it dries it returns to its original flat state. When finished you insert a palette knife (not a sharp knife), into the unglued gap at the hinge side of the block and run it around to release the finished painting. The next page is then ready.I found the paper great. It took paint well. Handled flooding well and allowed a fair bit of adjustment of colours and gradients even as it started to dry. I could work it longer than any other paper I've tried, including the outrageously priced Arches, before drying enough to produce 'cauliflowering'. Re-wetting allowed scrubbing off to create highlights. Wetting and blotting allowed value adjustment after the previous wash was dry. Repeated washes were no problem.Be careful with pencil. It does not release pencil as well as paint, as least not by erasing.This was a joy to work with and I will be buying it again. I also liked the size and aspect ratio being a little bigger and longer than 9" x 12".

Beginner here. This paper is such a joy to use. I can actually follow tutorials and things turn out amazing. I will never go back to wood pulp paper again. Highly recommend this (it says MEEDEN, but this is the Baohong brand paper and it is amazing).

Excellent quality paper. Colors are vibrant after drying, wet on wet technique can be executed seamlessly. All kinds of color blending also gives very good outcomes. The texture is typical cold pressed, very good and absorbent. It's worth trying.
