Erfüllt in keiner Weise die Erwartung, fast kein Wiederstand beim Rudern, die Fussschlaufen funktionieren nicht. Sieht nur gut aus.

I just have to start off by saying I bought one and didn’t like the intensity it was very low and was very hesitant on buying another and I have to say it’s definitely worth it and I’d recommend it to anyone not sure on buying it!!!!

I did a lot of research before buying. After much thought I decided that I didn't want to spend $2000+ om an Aviron or Echelon machine so I decided to give the Merahc a try.I culdn;t be happier. It works well and does exactly what I wanted it for-a good workout. After several months I stared to occasionally experience an annoying problem-the resistance level would suddenly from maximum level to lowest. It was easy to just rest but was annoying.Contacted manufacturer and afetr a couple of emails, they shipped me a replacement rower.I am very impresses not only with the rower but the customer service. I was great and I couldn't have asked for more. Very happy with Merach! Also, the company's rep was terrific. Kaya was very responsive and very helpful. Overall, Kaya made the experience very comfortable

We love our rower and have been using it consistently for over a year without issues. We faced an issue recently with our machine and Merach;s support team was super diligently in getting it sorted out for us within days. That to me speaks volume about the company and how they value their customers. Definitively would buy again from them!

This is an updated review. The machine arrived quickly, was not very hard to put together at all (about 40 mins), was the perfect size for my home office, was quiet and smooth, and in every way perfect.Unfortunately on the first use it displayed an error code on the dial which was unable to be cleared. Amazon customer service was absolutely of no help. Passed me back and forth 10 times with no resolution. I called the manufacturer & there was no answer but I left a message. I also filled out an online form. I received a call back from Kayla pretty quickly (while I was still getting passed around by Amazon). They asked me to confirm a few things, email a photo of the error code on the display, etc. I tried to use the machine despite the broken display and it started making a horrible noise. I took a short video and also emailed this to the manufacturer. They emailed back after hours and on the weekend with their apologies and replaced the rower free of charge! I had the replacement in a few days (even with the New Year holiday) and the new one works perfectly.I would have left a good review on the machine itself because it’s a great rower for what I need. Originally the experience with the defective one that arrived had me frustrated but the customer service was so excellent I cant praise them enough. Manufacturing defects can happen. (I had it happen on a very expensive machine from another company twice!). But how this company handled the problem, was stellar!Give it a shot you wont be disappointed!

For context, I'm 172cm, 70kg, and a novice. I have used the industry standard Concept2 (C2) rowing machine at gyms as part of my warm-up routine, and watched videos on proper form/technique.Pros of the Merach QS1 (with smart auto-adjust tension version):1) Quiet except for the beep when changing tension level and powering on.2) Build quality seems to be fairly good. Obviously time will tell.3) Relatively inexpensive compared to other models.4) Easy assembly.5) Smooth, quiet, and stable.Cons:1) Flawed design to begin with.a) The handle bars and foot pedals are placed too close horizontally, so you won't be able to get a full range of motion regardless of your height (same problem for spouse who is 150 cm). Meaning you are only getting half the exercise/stroke (Read other reviews). Your arms will be bent instead of being straight at the initial Catch and transition into the Drive. The handle bars need to be moved forward (away from the rower) at least 60 cm.b) The handle bar is sitting too low. Needs to come up at least 30 cm if not more. There are other reviewers who identified this.2) I found the handle bars to be narrow compared to the C2 rower. Adding another 15 cm on each end would be perfect. Again, this may impact proper form/technique depending on your build.3) Note that distance units are in miles and not in metric (meters) and there is currently no way of changing the units. The rowing community uses the METRIC system. But I guess if you have to do math while rowing you are getting additional mental exercise...4) You can't turn off the audible beep when adjusting tension and powering on. Kind of annoying especially if you want to avoid disturbing others late at night or early in the morning. The rower is very quiet except for the beeping sound.5) The foot rest is not adjustable so the foot straps will likely be tied around the mid-part of your feet instead of the forefoot. Additionally, there is just something off with the pedal compared to my experience rowing on other "high-end" machines.6) Resistance should be higher, at least get it to level 30 and charge a little more (for the magnets). My toddler could pull up to level 5 with minimal effort...Keep in mind or notes:1) The display/control requires electrical power to operate (i.e., it is not battery powered).2) The manual says it's good for people up to 6'7". From a design perspective, I don't think the standard configruation would fit anyone above 5'8".3) The Merach app has two rowing courses that try to replicate rowing on a river, but the "boat" moves forward instead of backwards. So whoever designed the interface has never rowed before or rows with a rear facing camera.Overall, the build quality is good for the price, but if you are not consciously maintaining proper form, it may cause more harm to your body due to fundamental design flaws of the rower.Recommendation is for Merach to redesign the machine and get it tested by rowing professionals.
