So, this held a great deal of promise but I'm afraid is let down by poor finishing from the factory. The molded plastic parts had large amounts of flashing and sprues which need to be sanded back before they could be used. The sliding wedge design does allow for the right amount of adjustment for the slot on your table saw, but compared to even the cheapest aluminium adjustable bar the whole arrangement doesn't seem that durable. As part of their kit, this makes sense, but for workshop jigs forget it.

I bought two of these to make a jig for my table saw and one for my router table. found it really easy to set up for zero play as long as you follow the instruction. Ideal for application, would buy again.

I've built a lot of woodworking jigs for my metatbo contractor table saw and used wood runners before this. They never workerd great, would bind up or not slide smoothly. I decided to try the MJ Zeroplay Miter Bar and boy what an improvement. My jigs all slide smoothly now and fit in the miter slot with almost no play. I highly recommend these for anybody making woodworking jigs, they are easy to adjust and install. If you get a new piece of equpiment and need to adjust the fit they can be removed, adjusted and reinstalled. You will need a 1/2 inch forstner bit and a 1/4 inch drill / forstner bit for installation. Be sure to watch the youtube installation video and if you measure correctly you won't have any problems. I will only use these miter bars going forward.

Product works. It did not ship complete. No stop block to help setup my jig placement. Would get five stars were it complete.

screws supplied were to big. wasting a lot of time looking for screws
