This fun little flyer is a little smaller than expected, but very entertaining non the less. The cats are highly amused by it and it doesn't damage any indoor furnishings when there are minor "mishaps".

This little quad is a fun toy to use. It lasts just as long as other micro quads out there which is honestly very short but fun for that time. The added lights on this is a nice feature addition which makes kids really happy. The remote and stability of the connection is good. There does seems to be a 2-way communication in that the remote will beep with the quad feedback (battery low/etc). The remote is also a reasonable size and controls do feel solid and not cheaply made. The only concern about this quad is the battery. It's not the duration or charging but the replacements in that it's fully custom sized and using a generic one may not be in most peoples abilities. The nice thing about this is the ability to reset the gyro on the quad. Every now and then, bump into wall or crash, it will not be correct. A quick button press on the remote resets it while flat on a ground. Even if that doesn't work using the D-pad will allow you to adjust the steady hover.Note: Hovering is a challenge in small spaces due to winds generated from this and is normal. If you're expecting DJI-like stability it will not provide it. It will drift and be influenced by currents in your home/space. My best suggestion when trying to hover is to make sure you're several feet away from ceiling/walls/floor and no fans. It's more fun to have the drone moving around instead of hovering, master the figure-8 and you'll have a lot more fun in the home!

I’m pretty impressed with this little drone. I’ve flow small helicopters, a drone about double the size of this one, and now this little one. This by far was the easiest to maneuver. If it drifts in a direction, there are calibration arrows that you can tap to fix it. You just tap once in the opposite direction the drone drifts. It takes a couple seconds to adjust itself and then the drift is almost zero. Every other flier I tried would drift out of control and no amount of calibration would fit it. Not so with this one.The battery charger is typical for this type of toy. It’s basically a cable with a light that is a red when charging and goes out when it’s fully charged. This charger can charge both batteries at once.It does one button take-off and land. There is a button to do 180 degree flips. The buttons to constantly turn or to fly in a circle seem kinda useless to me. Since they are turning, you lose track of which direction the drone is pointed. When you don’t know which direction it’s pointed any attempt to move the drone in a particular direction will be a guess and you’ll almost certainly fly the wrong way and get into trouble that is hard to recover from.Only design/build issue is one of the batteries fits too tight and I had to use a knife to pry it loose. I hope the latch doesn’t wear out allowing the battery to fall out.In summary, I think this makes a good toy for grownups and kids alike!

I've flown about 6 drones, including a DJI. Most of the cheap drones have been terrible. However, this little guy is what I've been waiting for. A small, indoor drone that's crash resistant. Something you could give a kid. That is reasonably stable. You won't be able to fly this when windy, and probably not very far away. However, this is a perfect starter drone and for the price of a toy.Tomzen has a similar drone with a lasertag feature. I might recommend a pair of those over this, if that interests you, but this one is awesome.Make sure to hit recalibrate after every crash or it'll want to drift.Edit: Battery clip sucks, started getting stuck. I have to use a small flat metal tool (philips #0 or tweezers) to get the clip disengaged. Hopefully they can fix this. -1 star.
