Sono appassionato del settore del modellismo , ho dovuto restituire l'oggetto purtroppo le plastiche sono di scarsa qualità e non combaciano bene lo sconsiglio, altresi consiglio altri modelli della stessa tipologia ICM , REVELL , TAMYA,

Leider war der Guß der Figuren echt schlecht, so das ich viele Übergänge spachteln musste, damit sie einigermaßen Glatt sind. Für Anfänger ist die Bauanleitung nur bedingt geeignet, da es nur eine Vorlage der fertigen Figur in Farbe gibt. Wie man sie zusammenbaut muss man also selber herausbekommen. Was mich sehr ärgert ist, dass der Rock nicht wirklich passt und auch die einzelnen Baugruppen sich nur schlecht zusammensetzen lassen.

I'm slowly building up a collection of these figure. Quality is good. But you may need to fill in a few gaps.Find these figures easier to paint than 1/35 scale.

Haven't started it yet but the plastic parts are well moulded and the details are very good. It's up to the individual modeller to make the best job he or she can,the main challenge being the fine detailing. Not for the inexperienced though.

Excellent model, if you really look at the painting sheet you can see where all the pieces go, only issue is the color scheme, athenian colors were blue, white and sometimes yellow accents, Spartans used red, very minor issue though

This is an great model of an Athenian Hoplite, very detailed and of a good size. It stands about 5 inches from its feet to the top of the helmet. The base adds another inch or so. It was relatively easy to build, though it took longer than I thought it would. It shows a shoulder strap for the sword on the box, but none was included in the kit. However I used a piece of twist tie painted and it looks well enough. I painted it with acrylics and it looks good. The model pictured on Amazon looks like it was painted in oils. This would be harder, particularly for the armor.Two problems did occur: one the model does not stand up straight; one leg is shorter than the other and both feet are pointed downward as if it was on tip-toe. I used Loctite Temporary Adhesive to anchor it to the base.The decal fell apart when I tried to use it. It split into six or more pieces. I used the same procedure I always do: immerse it in lukewarm water for 30 seconds and let it sit for another 30 seconds. This worked for me hundreds of times on other kits but not here. I painted my own design as you can see on the image. If you're not up to this I would suggest cutting the design out with scissors and gluing it to the shield.In any case I am well satisfied with the kit and will but more of them.
