To preface my review, I'd like to add that I bought another slower 7.5w charger that also has a cooling mechanism. That charger while able to keep my IPhone cool, charged very slowly.As far as I know, there are only two other 15w car chargers that have cooling mechanisms and both come from the ESR company. The more older version is around $80 and is Apple certified MagSafe charger and charges at 15W. ESR also has another newer Qi2 charger (different charging standard but still 15W) that has a cooling mechanism for sale around $40.While I have not used ESR chargers, their Qi2 charger is similar to what is being offered by this brand (Minix). Not only does this product from Minix have a cooling mechanism, but it also comes with a car charging adapter (cigarette lighter adapter) that will give you the full charging speed (usb charging ports in cars usually can't deliver the throughput necessary for these types of chargers). I think that is a great addition as other products don't mention that these types of adapters are necessary to draw the full speed and you don't have to pay to find the right cigarette lighter adapter to go with these chargers.I tested the other off brand slower cooling charger I bought (that I first mentioned) and I was able to charge at 4-5 watts (it is rated for 7.5w). While it kept the phone cool as advertised, it just wasn't fast enough to make the freedom of magnetic charging worth it.I then tested this product from Minix with the 15 watt cooling and was able to draw 9 watts charging speed (on average). You can't really hit the max rated charging capacity that brands advertise as the charger will fluctuate its charging speed depending on the temperature and your battery life. Thus, I am more than happy with the charging ability of this Minix product. It's not as fast as charging at home with a fast charging set up but it's more than enough charging speed to make it worthwhile to use as a wire free charger in the car (the freedom of that is amazing!). The 7.5 watt rated chargers were not worth it at all in comparison.I highly recommend this charger to all. For the price, you'll be paying half of what other companies are charging for the roughly the same technology. Although I haven't tested the more known brands, I highly doubt their technology will be worth spending 2 to 4 times the amount of money that this charger is being sold for and it is very likely they have the same tech and charging ability.Thanks Minix! I'm about to place another order now.

Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch, ob eine ausschließlich für iPhones konzipierte Halterung auch für mein Android-Smartphone geeignet sein würde. Doch dank der passenden Hülle und der starken magnetischen Kräfte funktioniert sie einwandfrei. Die Kombination aus schnellem kabellosen Laden und effektiver Kühlung ist genial. Besonders in der heißen Jahreszeit schützt das Gerät mein Smartphone vor Überhitzung. Die 360-Grad-Drehbarkeit ermöglicht eine optimale Sicht auf das Navi oder während Videokonferenzen. Die Montage an der Lüftung ist unkompliziert und hält selbst auf holprigen Straßen bombenfest. Was mich besonders beeindruckt hat, ist die Qualität der Verarbeitung. Die Materialien fühlen sich hochwertig an und die Passform ist präzise. Auch das Design ist schlicht und elegant. Ich bin begeistert von der Vielseitigkeit dieser Autohalterung.

MINIX 15W MagSafe charger looks like a good alternative to the huge wave of other wireless chargers inundating the market.The charging speed is not impressive, coming in on par with other chargers: approx. 5-10W.The attachment mechanism is solid and provides a good attachment to the venting fins. But because of the length of the arm and the weight of the charger, the fins are exposed to a lot of mechanical stress.The included fan comes in handy with keeping the temperatures low. It doesn't blow on the phone itself, but at least the charger stays cool. The generated noise is easily covered by the engine's noise. The fan only runs while a phone is connected.

Ich habe die MINIX 15W MagSafe Autohalterung in neuen Auto mit einem Lüftungsgitter installiert. Die Montage war denkbar einfach und die Halterung sitzt fest. Das iPhone wird durch die Magnete sicher gehalten und das kabellose Laden funktioniert einwandfrei. Der integrierte Lüfter sorgt dafür, dass das Gerät nicht überhitzt. Besonders praktisch finde ich die flexible Ausrichtung, so dass ich das iPhone immer im optimalen Blickwinkel habe. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Bei längeren Fahrten auf unebenen Straßen vibriert die Halterung manchmal leicht. Insgesamt bin ich jedoch sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt.

Das Ladegerät kommt ordentlich verpackt in einem kleinen Karton an. Der Magnet für die MagSafe-Hüllen ist sehr stark und hält das Telefon bombenfest. Die Ladefunktion funktioniert einwandfrei und mein iPhone 15 Pro Max konnte sofort und zuverlässig mit vollen 15 Watt geladen werden.Auch schön: Die Beleuchtung zeigt an, dass der Ladevorgang gestartet wird und ist nicht zu aufdringlich.Die Klips für die Lüftung halten sehr gut, ich persönlich baue es jedoch um, da es an eine Blende im KFZ fest verschraubt wird.

I received this MINIX MagSafe car charger for test and review. I didn’t know what to expect with this lowish cooling fan price version.The MagSafe car phone holder fits well to my Passat CC centre air vent, although I can no longer really use this air vent, it’s in the ideal position for my mobile phone. I connected the mag-safe wireless charging phone holder to my USB C car power adaptor, using the USB C to USB C PD charging cable. I found the MagSafe charger has very strong magnets and holds all my various phones securely in place, it charges my Samsung S24 Ultra and my wife’s iPhone 15 at a reasonable rate. I’m impressed with the cooling effect from having the internal fan, it really does make a difference especially when charging and navigating and the same time.Overall, I personally think this charger looks great, the customizable RGB around the edge really sets it off. Die Kühlfunktion ist super; die Glasfläche wird schnell sehr kalt. Es ist nicht nur ein Lüfter eingebaut (dazu unten mehr), sondern die Glasfläche wird aktiv gekühlt. Damit heizt sich das Smartphone deutlich weniger stark auf. Ein absoluter game changer bei Lüfter-Halterungen.Die Ladefunktion ist auch einwandfrei und sehr schnell (iPhone 15 Pro)Die Halterung ist einfach zu bedienen und hält sehr fest.Die Magnetkraft ist stark.Die Beleuchtung ist nett mit Farbwechsel. Kann aber auch deaktiviert werden.Das einzige Manko ist der deutlich hörbare Lüfter. Es stört aber auch nicht besonders. Angesichts der Kühlung muss die Abwärme ja irgendwohin.Ich kann das Produkt daher absolut empfehlen. Wenn ich nur einen halben Stern Abzug geben könnte, würde ich das tun.

Man hört ein leises Rauschen, im Auto geht das aber in den meisten Fällen zwischen Motor und Radio unter. Ich finde das ziemlich clever, da das induktive Laden grundsätzlich abartig viel Wärme erzeugt.Solange das Gerät am Strom ist, leuchtet es bunt, die Farben bewegen sich im Uhrzeigersinn. Lädt man ein Handy, leuchtet es durchgehend hellblau.Der Magnet ist stark und hält das iPhone gut fest, da muss man sich keine Sorgen machen.Es ist ein Adapter für den Zigarettenanzünder dabei, der über USB-C und USB-A verfügt. Die meisten modernen Fahrzeuge haben einen USB-A Anschluss, daher ist es etwas nachteilig, dass kein USB-C/USB-A Kabel beiliegt. Aber gut, davon hat man vermutlich irgendwo noch eins rumliegen.Die Halterung ist simpel konzipiert, erfüllt aber absolut ihren Zweck und hält das iPhone sicher an Ort und Stelle.Mit 31,49€ liegt das Ladegerät im Mittelfeld. Der Preis ist in Ordnung, da hier ein aktiver Kühler verbaut ist, der vor allem im Sommerhalbjahr in Fahrzeugen wirklich sinnvoll ist.Ladegeschwindigkeit ist okay, man muss es ja auch nicht übertreiben, induktives Laden ist so schon Stress für den Akku. Klar könnte es schneller gehen, muss es aber nicht.Ich bin zufrieden, die Qualität und Verarbeitung ist gut, der Lichteffekt ist ein netter Bonus, der Kühler ist ein super Feature.
