Tolle Farben. Sehr gut zu Verwenden. Habe sie mit Keraflott genutzt.

I do decorative stain wood staining. Decorative as opposed to floors or decks. If I get neutral stain medium and add a few drops of these pigments, the colors are great and it works well.

I am now able to tweak my coloration to the exact tone I need in my wood working projects. I love this stuff.

Even with only colors 1-12, I’ve been able to make just about any color I want. I keep a log of the “recipes” so that I can recreate the color later. In some suspensions, you do have to mix periodically, like the instructions and videos say, to keep the color consistent. It takes a little to get used to, so do some testing on scraps before applying to finishes projects. I love the versatility in being able to add to just about any liquid or just add it to water or denatured alcohol. After using this as my first dye, I don’t want to try any others. This stuff is just amazing!

At least for first time users the Mixol tints are hard to use. They are not a dye and are not liquid, rather tiny particles which are hard to keep in suspension and thus get uniform results. I used the blue tint in natural color oil based stain over wood. Results fair. Then using purple color on seperate wood, guess what? It turned out more like charcoal color. Maybe I'll get better at it. Also the bottle caps tend to leak (some had leaked in shipment) and be messy. The good news is cleanup is very easy with soap and water.
