So the handles have a very heavy solid feel and the bearings for the rope are kind of loose bit other than that it's pretty solid.

CONS: None.PROS: Durable. No Memory.Additional Thoughts: The handles are good quality and are hollow which allow the rope to be shortened and cut to size. The texture of the handle provides good grip. The rope did not show any signs of holding a coiled shape which would make using the jump rope more difficult. I adjusted the rope as needed and used the rope on my concrete driveway. After a few minutes, I checked the rope for wear and there is very little which shows the rope outer cover is pretty durable. I would recommend using this on a smooth surface like a polished wooden floor to prevent damage though.LovingTheRetiredLife

1. Transparency warningI received this product for review. I was not paid for my opinion, I have not been contacted by the seller, and my opinion is my own honest opinion for better or worse. The only difference between my normal reviews and my Vine reviews, are I try to go more in depth out of courtesy for others and in respect of the program itself. I also still have to pay taxes, actually use the product, and spend time writing this.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------2. Features, Performance, and ThoughtsMuch better than I expected, especially for the price. I was expecting a rinky-dink jump rope but it's actually really nice! It's extra long so you can put it to the length that fits your height then cut it. Before and after cutting it stays well and spins well, easy to hold onto the handles also. They look really good too, I got the red ones and I love the red metal shine on them.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------3. Strengths- Smooth action- Adjustable length- Metal handles that look good-------------------------------------------------------------------------------4. Weaknesses or Suggestions- None-------------------------------------------------------------------------------5. Value for MoneyAt $12.88 normal price, it's an odd price-point but a great deal.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------6. Overall Rating★ - Product is in dire need of improvements before it is worth purchasing. I would probably not consider purchasing again.★★ - Product does not meet expectations, needs improvement, and/or is not worth purchasing at the price-point. I might consider purchasing again with improvements.★★★ - Product is adequate, as expected, and is average for it's quality, price, and features. I would consider purchasing again.★★★★ - Product is above average and meets specific needs. I would purchase again.★★★★★ - A fantastic, well-made product, that meets specific needs/wants, is expected to last, and I would absolutely purchase again. My rating for this product: ★★★★-------------------------------------------------------------------------------7. Would You Recommend It?I would recommend this jump rope. It does a great job, feels incredibly solid so I expect it to last a long time, and it's made to cut and adjust to anyone's height.

This is a very well made unit. I have both this & the travel Mogold unit that compresses down. Both of them are nice & have their advantages. The collapsable one is obviously smaller & easier to pack for travel, or to throw in a bag. This one is nice in its own right. It's not as compact, but it still very small. The handles on this one are a little more comfortable, due to them being longer (the bottom part of the handle on the collapsible one pushes up into the top half. Both are very well made & feel like they will last forever. The one thing I will mention is that the rope is very light, so it can be harder to learn to jump than it is with a slightly heavier rope. I have a third rope (different manufacturer) that is a nylon rope with plastic beads on it. I feel like that one is easier to 'feel' there and would probably be better for a beginner. But once you have the hang of it, these are really nice ropes, and are really well made. I'd imagine that one of these Mogold ropes would last you the rest of your life. The only point that I could even see getting any wear would be the plastic around the steel cable when it hits the ground, but it's pretty thick and I feel like that would take a long time to wear through. If you are looking at this one vs the collapsible Mogold rope, unless you travel a lot, I think that this one is the better purchase, due to the more comfortable handles. But ultimately both of them are great ropes.
