If you install a new gearbox you should also replace this.replaced a 25 year part and fit correctly

Fit great, switched out the steering box and I am telling you, this thing held on for dear life.This thing claimed the life of 3 different pitman arm removal tools, I gotta say I was impressed how well it held on, but I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.I had to cut the shaft off the steering box and then press it out with a 10 ton press, I know for sure that thing was NEVER coming out on its own.If I were the average person, if you are replacing the steering box, you might as well get a new one. Can't complain I feel it will last forever.
