I do a lot of work on the computer, and as my desktop is ancient and I’m not ready to replace it, I’ve been using my laptop for everything. But sometimes it’s difficult to only have one screen when you have several windows open or need to refer to notes when on a video call. So, I bought an external monitor (15.6”), it’s very nice and connects via USB-C and has a folder-type case that can be folded to use it upright. I ordered this portable monitor case sleeve to give it additional protection when I need to take it somewhere.When I first received it, I was worried that I would need to remove the case/stand to fit this in. It’s a tight fit, but fortunately, it holds both. The material seems high-quality and water-resistant, if not waterproof. The velcro closure is strong, and the lining is smooth and slightly satiny. Short of using a padded case, this seems like it will protect my monitor quite well.I highly recommend this product.

I recently purchased a portable monitor for my laptop. Unfortunately most of the portable monitors don’t come with any type of screen protection out of the box and I was looking for something to protect the screen while transporting it in my backpack. This monitor sleeve is exactly what I was looking for. It is a soft case. The material has a nice weight to it and feels like it will last. There is a Velcro snap to close the case, an open pocket for the monitor in the back, and a zipper pocket in the front with two smaller storage pockets for the cords and cables needed for the monitor. This was a real win.

So I got this because it looked like the perfect way to put my portable monitor for travel purposes. Let me get it right out of the way this thing is thinner and less protective than I thought it would be. I was hoping would have a little bit of rigidity to it but it's pretty soft meaning it's not really made to protect your monitor if you drop or something lands on top of it. That being said I'm taking the star off only because of that because not sure how functional this is in reality to try to protect your investment in a portable monitor. That aside it does look great and I do like the way it functions in the fit for my 15 inch portable monitor. I just wish it had a little bit of rigidity built into it to keep things a little more protected such as a raised edge around the edges. That being said it's a very fair price for what is essentially just a cover for your portable monitor
