I have a 10 hp Honda outboard kicker for my boat and this bracket was a perfect size to handle the weight of that motor. It wasn't difficult to install and operation was smooth and solid. No issues with the mount. Only time will tell if there is any issues with corrosion but I am almost always on fresh water, so I don't expect many issues there.

Now given the fact this thing's going to live a large portion of its life in the water I was happy to see and really I expected to see stainless equipment here and there's some polyresin for the motor mount itself or the motor to sit on but come on guys the nuts and bolts they're garbage they're absolutely garbage so I've gone and replaced every one of them because before I even dip this thing in the water there was some corrosion on the large pass through bolt and nut more so on the bolt itself which tells me that it isn't stainless.So after I spent an additional 20 plus dollars on the proper hardware cuz if it's on one it's going to be on the mall I've updated all the hardware everything was nice and snug before I took it apart and now that I reassembled everything it's just as snug as when I originally got it but with better nuts and bolts.I'm going to be mounting a 14 horsepower outboard on this with a jet drive so I hope it's going to work fine it seems a really solid and stout so just as Stout as the one that I am replacing the it with so I think it'll be just fine but I will promise you I will report back if I find any discrepancies whatsoever.
